Paula Begound started this line of skincare but has since sold it to a large corporation, the name of which I don't know. According to the article I read, she still allows them to use her name on the products but doesn't even sit on their Board of Directors. I read her first two books and she summed up my feeling about makeup but most especially, skincare. One thing she always said is that it is totally unnecessary to wear a separate eye moisturizer, yet this company now sells it. (I'm 70 - have almost no lines around my eyes and never used special eye creams because my regular moisturizers have worked for that area.) Some of the Paula's Choice skincare products are excellent; others are not, based on my own experience. I just wish the company wouldn't act like Paula Begoun has anything to do with the company because she doesn't. I may be repeating incorrect information but I've read what I just wrote on two trustworthy web sites. Meanwhile, this product is wonderful! By the way, the names of her books were "Don't go near the Cosmetics Counter without Me!" She also still writes (at least I think she's still the one writing it), a dictionary of terms used regarding skicare terms. Anyone can feel free to correct me if I've been misinformed.
