Digital Amalgamator Amalgam Mixer Capsule Lab Equipment G8

I was worried this would not last but so far it is working well. I like the adjustable settings and the price is great.

I unpacked the triturator (amalgamator, amalgam mixer) and removed the two packing screws on the bottom of the machine and plugged it in. I was pleasantly surprised that it turned on and worked. I brought it into the office and tuned it to the mixes that we use. Everyone is very happy with the machine. It runs much quieter that our previous unit (we can actually hear each other talking over it when running), it is smaller, and the machine has more adjustments. Everyone is very happy with it so far.

I think its pretty quiet. It has speed settings that go from at least 300/500 (per min?) and a easy timer. I've only had it for a week or so, but it works just fine. Glad i bought this one instead of the one for 6x the price from patterson/shein. Even if it breaks, i can buy several more before hitting that price range.Edit: 2 years later and this thing is still going strong w/ no issues

Removed the screws on the bottom as instructed, placed on level surface and it worked perfectly.

This is a much lower cost unit than one would find with the brands offered by the major dental supply companies. However, the quality seems just fine. For some reason, it is designed to look like a child's toy truck. Makes for interesting conversations with patients!

Works great

Cute but didn’t work. We took Out the 2 screws used for transport and the mixer would shake and hit the walls as it was going to break. We thought it was just a lemon so returned and tried another one and it did the same thing! Was forced to buy a more expensive one from the dental supply company and it worked smoothly.

Affordable. Fairly quiet. All good!
