Awesome Silent Fans !!!!!
I need better cooling for my i7 7700k @4.5ghz so i replaced my stock fans on the H100i v2 with these ML 120`s for better cooling and less noise. When my pc is idle the fans spin at around 500rpm with temps of 24oC with Ambient room temperature of 21oC and when gaming they roughly reach 11-1400rpm with temps of 66oC.The only sounds i hear now is my watercooler booting up and this is fairly quiet too, the only downside to buying any Corsair watercooler is the cheap loud stock fans.... corsair should supply future watercoolers with these ML Series as they are badass!

Great for heatsinks.
I bought this because the fan on my Hyper 212 CPU cooler was rattling, so I needed a fan that could sustain high pressure airflow for a long period without making a whole lot of noise whenever the chip starts heating up. This fan fits the bill perfectly because as well as those properties it comes with built-in anti-vibration rubber pads, which means you don't need to stick any on there if you want to clamp it to a heat sink. What really sold me was the promise that the bearing wouldn't wear and start rattling over time due to the magnetic levitation they have going on.Like any fan, if you turn the power high enough it will make a lot of noise. There's no real way to avoid that despite what manufacturers claim. This one does however do a good job of minimising said noise and if you have a decent case and use smart fan controls it will be nearly silent on idle and quiet enough that it won't be audible if you game using a headphones. This fan is not quite up to the standards of a Noctua (of which I have two hidden about my case), but then nothing else is and Noctuas are not where nearly as aesthetically pleasing, so it's a good compromise.

but I decided to take the plunge anyway as I've never had a bad product from Corsair
I upgraded to these ML bearing driven fans from a set of SP120Ls as I was tired of the noisy stock fans. I was somewhat put off by other people's reviews that complain of whine or that they are louder than the old SP120 fans, but I decided to take the plunge anyway as I've never had a bad product from Corsair. What can I say? These fans performed exactly as I wanted & expected them to. At low speeds they are considerably quieter than my old set and they look so much better.Pros---------------------- - Good airflow, on par with, if not better than, the SP120L fan - Build quality, Corsair have never let me down in this regard, their gear is well made and these fans were no exception to that rule - Like the SP120L the ML120 is PWM controllable meaning you can have the fan at near silent at idle. However, even when these fans ramp up, they are still quieter than the SP120LCons----------------------- In order to maximize the light output of the white LEDs (having the 'open' side of the fan facing inwards), I had to change the orientation of my radiator from an intake to exhaust. This means my cooler is pulling warmer air from inside the case to cool the radiator. I can work around this by changing the orientation of my other fans to allow better airflow to the inside of the case. The functionality of the radiator is essentially unaffected and the temperature difference is a matter of a few degrees. The fans would have 5 star from me otherwise but this is by no means a complaint about the product.

Premium but loud!
Fans okay.... I managed to get one half price through a sale. But these are far from silent. I've had 2 cheap fans on an EG branded case running quieter at max speed. Saying this, the quality is excellent and it throws some serious air out the back of the case. Was slightly disappointed to see the LED intensity dropping when the speed was reduced using speedfan. This is probably the case with most though!?If you're after a premium fan with a stylish appearance this is a good fit. If youre after a silent build, you may need to look elsewhere. To get these running silent you need them running at approximately 600rpm.

A great built quality, aesthetic and modern looking... but my unit was potentialy faulty.
Well, had it in a PC for around a year at minimum RPM or turned off. Had it just as a help for my main front fans to push all hot air out of the case if I played for too long or when it was 30 degrees in the room. However when I swapped it to be my main fan I run it at 40-50% RPM and it was loud af. Reminded me of a jet taking off the ground. I tried a noise reduction extension, changing the header... nothing worked... so it either failed during the use or it was already faulty and I never noticed. But over all it did the job and assured that no components were under any risk of overheating due to lack of cold air.
