I accidentally dropped my first one in the floor and it shattered. But I liked it so well that I immediately bought a replacement

Not that good
This glass lid costs over 52.00 $ cad. So much$ for so little. The quality of this glass lid suffers a great deal. The lid I was sent was difficient. The screw and cheap plastic washer were not usable. I had to find a thick ruber washer and use this with the screw to attach the handle to the lid. It now functions. Another quirk with this lid is that it leaks. If you cover the skillet while cooking. The lid leaks water (accumulated steam)…..I have to clean up if I lift the lid to stir food being cooked……Am not pleased with this product and purchase. Buyer beware………..

I can see my food with this on, so I'm covering it without covering it. Sturdy.

Product is good, but has single fatal flaw
I read several reviews where people had trouble with the handle on the lid, but decided to purchase anyway. While I really enjoy the lid, and it fits Victoria cast irons quite well, the handle does in fact break off. Luckily, the glass was not damaged at all, and the failure point was determined to be the metal washer.After a trip to the hardware store, the washer was replaced with another, stainless steel one. I would give the product a solid 4 out of 5, were it not for needing to make repairs.
