Few reviews said the quality was not good but this is durable and heavyduty. Looks as pictured. No shedding. It rolled out and over a course of 24hrs the ends flattened. I purchased the Large and its more than spacious, 3 or 4 kids can play together with room. Would I say it's worth $179 yes because my twins love it but no because it's a dang car rug. I did have some issues with shipping. My first order of it was 3 weeks with a "we will email you when it ships" message. I finally contacted Amazon and they told me I should have been messaged a week prior to be told an issue had occurred and it was not going to ship out. They cancelled the order and told me to reorder. It needed to be procured from another warehouse to my closest fulfillment warehouse and no one signed off on the ticket. The same thing happened again except this time I only let it go on with this message for 1 week before I canceled again. I hesitated pulling the trigger a third time but it went on sale from 179 to 159 so I decided to go for it. This time I immediately got a delivery date at check out and it arrived in a timely manner. We are stationed in Guam so it takes roughly 2 weeks for everything.

My kids love this rug (2.5 and 1 year old) It’s raised portion is really nice and thick. Very good quality and pretty colors. It vacuumes up nicely (I have a golden/husky and the hair comes off easy) I have spilled coffee on the thing and cleaned it up no problem. It rolled out pretty flat, which was impressive since I ordered it for Christmas and got it weeks early. Even after being rolled up and in the garage for weeks and weeks the only parts that were stubborn were the corners, and they relaxed within a day or so. Great rug!

This rug is fantastic. It is absolutely beautiful in real life. I only wish I had ordered it sooner. The quality of the materials is really high. I like that the colored parts of it are very soft and have a silky sheen to them. The white parts are sort of matted together to give the edges that border the flat-woven roads and things more structure. It does take me an extra minute to vacuum it because I usually have to grab my vacuum’s smaller hand tool to get the places where the pile meets the flat-woven part, but I really don’t mind doing that considering how much we have enjoyed playing on this rug. It’s a great size for the Melissa and Doug wooden cars. We have the M&D street signs and those have been really educational and cool to go with it, too. Matchbox cars also fit perfectly!

We adore our city harbor rug. I’d been making painter’s tape highways in our home until I decided to upgrade and the kids (and us!) adore it. The quality of this rug is so apparent. It’s clearly made with great integrity and intention to be a well-loved rug for generations. The raised and low areas are super fun to drive around and through. We even have three little airplanes for the airport now which the kids think is the coolest. My favorite place is the harbor—where there’s even a doc for toy boats to pull up to and go to town. Lol. Love love love. Thank you.

I had been searching for a rug with roads on it and this one was the best I could find. The roads are indented with no pile. The bigger the rug the more of the scene you get. I got the 71x53 and so there is a large lake, the roads, and then the airport. My 4-year-old LOVES this. His older cousins were over recently and they had a blast playing with it too. It does slide around on the bare wood floor so I will be placing something underneath it. I wish I would have bought this sooner! Recommend!
