So easy to use - works great for veggies
Who knew growing veggies could be so easy? I always wanted to grow potatoes and when I saw this bag, I thought - this looks easy. And it really is. Throw in good draining soil, your potatoes (follow the instructions for adding dirt as they grow and don't fill up the whole thing at once). In just a couple of weeks I had plants and 3 weeks later, they look like the picture. I did put the bag on a plant stand to ensure good drainage. So far the bag has been sturdy and it needs to be because once it's filled with dirt, you need strong handles to lift it. The view window is great. Works great.

Great potato pot
Great size and water retention. It allows my potatoes to grow beautifully and the sturdiness is great.

Good for our Science Project
Very nice grow bag. We are using it for a home school science project and growing potato tubers. We can’t see any root growth yet, but the transparent sides make it nice for observation. No complaints so far!

We’ll made, great teaching item
I bought the 7 gallon brown, filled with 4” potting soil, planted 2 spuds with eyes and shoots. Added4” of soil and planted 2 more spuds catty corner of first two. As plants grow upward I will add more soil as needed. I watched a YouTube video which was helpful as I’ve never done this before. It’s in my basement on a plastic bin lid. The Velcro window didn’t allow any dirt to come out. A little water dripped out, hence the plastic under bag. I think I’ll set up a grow light once I have greenery, for now there kinda in the dark. Bags came vacuum sealed, plastic has a few wrinkles. I may use a hair dryer to heat up and see if I can get some of those out. Bag got round once I added dirt and shaped it. I’ll use other two bags on my patio for extra veggies.

So far so good
Growing potatoes in my basement and using these grow bags to attempt it. So far the plants are over a foot tall. The bag does get heavy as you fill so keep that in mind when they are full and you want to move them around and the bottom doesn't seem waterproof so the ground will get wet when watering and or moist. I put plastic storage containers covers under the grow bags. I also used a lot of perlite because the soil can't drain as well as if it was in a pot so to keep the soil from being sopping wet i used perlite.Update 2/24/23The bags work well and do what they're supposed to, However growing plants in your basement is difficult. The temperature has to be ideal, humidity level and lighting. I have LED grow light, but the sun is the sun and nothing compares.
