JETechCase for iPad Pro 9.7-Inch 2016 Model (Not for iPad 9.7 5/6 2017/2018), Smart Cover Auto Wake/Sleep (Black)

Overall:I bought this case back in August and it has served me well throughout that time. It's lightweight, protects the back and front from surface scratches, and has a rubberized texture that provides a good grip while holding. The felt surface on the inside is nice and soft, does not shed or stain (even under contact with the residual fingerprint oil on the iPad screen), and does not leave any micro-scratches on the iPad's glass surface. The iPad sleeps and auto-wakes without fault, and the fit of the case is perfect. The only caveat is that a small part of the case cracked near the power button of my iPad a week or so ago. However, the case was under warranty (6 months from the date of purchase I believe) and a short message through Amazon to the supplier resulted in a very quick reply a few hours later (very impressive!) asking for a picture of the crack. Another email with the picture attached, and the supplier replied (only 3 hours later!!) saying they would send a replacement free of charge. I received the replacement case, and it is the same one as the original, with same color and same fit. The service provided by the supplier was unexpectedly and really outstanding, especially for a case at this price-point.Positives:-Thin and light, and the openings for the buttons, speakers, and the lightning port are smooth cut without any jagged edges-The build quality of the case far surpasses expectations, and the case is a perfect fit for the iPad, without any loosenessNegatives:-The case may not protect the iPad from large drops, especially around the front edges of the screen. I have a glass screen protector that has mitigated the potential damage there.-When the front flap is flipped to access the screen, and the magnet(?) of the flap clicks onto the backside, there's a bit of room between the flap and backside of the iPad that can prevent the back from being completely flat sometimes, but it is manageable.-The case may carry some scuff marks over time.The case is an amazing one, especially for the price, is of great build quality (even the sound it makes when the iPad first clicks in is great, but, it is also easy to pop out), and is backed by extraordinary service (from initial email to replacement was less than half a day(!) and this was on a Sunday night!). People have mistaken the case for an official one from Apple, and two of my friends have bought the case after seeing it on my iPad. I will buy from this supplier again in the future; they really make an amazing product.

Great case and my preferred case for the iPad Pro 9.7 at ANY price. Covers all sides/corners of the iPad back and front. Simple good looking cosmetic design just black with no logos anywhere. Front feels a lot like the Apple smart cover and is permanently attached to the back which feels like a harder plastic.The iPad snaps in and stays in the case with no worry whatsoever of it falling out of the case no matter how it is held or dangled (it is actually almost *too* well held into the case, as it is a challenge to remove once snapped in). The cover feels like possibly microfiber and covers the screen nicely, and the magnets stick to the screen with confidence without being too strong. It does sleep and wake the iPad if you have it set up correctly. There is also nice cutouts for all speakers, headphone jack/lightning port, and the camera and flash, yet the cutouts feel strong and didn't peel or crack or otherwise hurt the structural strength of the case. The case is fairly slim, yet thick enough to cover the protruding camera so that the iPad lays flat when placed on a surface on its back.I had this case for over a year on my iPad Pro 9.7 and it protected the iPad flawlessly. When I sold the iPad, it was immaculate with no discoloration or scratches whatsoever. It did a great job, and the case was also as good as the day I bought it, save perhaps some slight fading of color from age perhaps, but this is mostly mitigated by the fact that it is black, so it is not very noticeable. No cracks or peeling.If there were one flaw it would be that once you snap the iPad into the case, it is quite challenging to remove from the case. On top of all this, the price as of the time I'm writing this is $6.98.I normally am a 'no case' kind of guy - I prefer to let the design and materials of my electronics show, rather than cover them up with a case. That said, with additional functionality the case provides (lifted mode, stand mode, etc.), and minimal cosmetic design, I actually prefer the iPad Pro 9.7 WITH the case.

My old iPad Pro 9.7" case was literally falling apart, so I opted to replace it. This one seemed to fit the bill.Overall, I'm pleased. Pros and Cons are:Pros:+ looks good+ installed easily+ fits well (I know others have complained, but mine fit my iPad perfectly)+ sleep function works wellCons:- The power and volume buttons are now in recessed cutouts. That's the design of this cover and it works as designed. But my old cover made it easier to use those buttons - now, I feel the back cover plastic when I want to use the buttons. It's certainly not a deal breaker.Overall, I'm pleased. It works as advertised, installs easily, and the price is right.

Good case, prompt delivery

Ever hear the saying, you've got a good case, there....this is one of those cases! If you are looking for a replacement case for your older iPad that fits the description for this product, get this one. Other than the cover does not separate from the case like the Apple product (no big deal, really), it functions just like it and fits great. When the cover is open and wrapped around the back of the case, the magnets will grab it just like the Apple product....this is a bonus because I didn't think it would, but it does and I like that. Other than that, it looks, feels and functions just fine and is a great replacement for my old Apple one that has seen better days. This case made my 2016 iPad Pro feel like new again so I recommend it. The price is right, too.
