Bought this as an upgrade add on for my existing DC3 compustar remote start. This was Plug and play! I thought I would have go to the guest part of firstech website and activate this, but I plugged it into the dc3 and within 2 minutes of being plugged in it was ready to be added to my drone app. Very easy, click add, put in serial number and follow the prompts and your good to go. Came with 30 day trial. I ask my local how much to add this and they wanted $250 including supplying the x1, started looking around and, this was less than $100 and 10 minutes of my time.

Received a used one. Unit was pried open and the serial number and the key card doesn’t match

Good with Compustar systems
This items was returned because it was not what I wanted. The seller sent me the upgraded product whi h so good customer service. It just wasn't what was needed

Perfect!
Installed in about 5 minutes. I Connected it to my already installed remote starter. The setup says you need a dealer, however there is an area for non dealers to activate the product. The instructions will give details on how to do that. Once your product is setup all you have to do is create and connect your car. It works well with a 30 day premium trial. Definitely worth the purchase!
