I live in a rural area and the walk to the village shop and pub is through some woods. This is a great little torch to take for the night. Made of machined aluminium it is quite robust yet light. Shower resistant, although it wouldn't survive getting submerged. And it is very bright with an adjustable beam, narrow to wide by sliding the front. It can be used with 3 AAA batteries in the cartridge supplied, or 1 18650 battery which is the laptop / vape type battery. I prefer the 18650 because I have a few hanging around and they last for a long time ( bear in mind you would need a charger for them) If you use the 18650 you will need to get the little plastic sleeve (available on Amazon for not much money) or wrap a bit of cardboard around the battery to hold it firm (not necessary with 3 AAAs) Have dropped this in the mud, left it on overnight... still working the next morning. Great little torch for the price and it comes with a storage case. Need to get another for the car... winter is coming. Cheap as chips and works a treat.

Very impressed with this compact, powerful torch. It has 5 light modes (zoom in and out function), so you can light up a small or larger area. The smaller the area the brighter the light. Great value for money as you get two in a small case. Ideal for blackouts in the home, or pop one in your pocket or bag if you're out walking at night.

As above there value for money. I received two for £10. First impressions are there quality is adequate, the lenses are glass and again of reasonable quality. The torches light beam can be adjusted wide to narrow, and goes a reasonable distance for such a cheap torch.Whilst you won't be blown away by the brightness, I'd imagine most dog walkers etc will be perfectly happy with these torches.
