SUPER WORTH IT!
This machine right here…. WOW! As new parents, this really saved us! We needed a machine that not only sterilized but DRIED! This is so worth it. I can fit about 8 bottles in here if I really try and sooooo many tiny pieces on the top. This is super worth it!! You won’t regret it.

But as a present for a baby shower, I think it’s a great idea. Good design good collar. It seems like the storage capacity is also good.

Great Option
Absolutely love this steamer. We don’t have a dishwasher so any extra dishes we have to do on top of bottle washing is no fun. Bought this to help us quickly be able to sanitizer her items from daycare on a weekly basis and we love it. Gets the job done great and stores away easy.

Almost Perfect… But Why is it Still Wet?
So, let me just start by saying I love the Philips AVENT Premium Baby Bottle Sterilizer with Dryer (SCF293/00). It’s fast, it’s efficient, and honestly, it gives me a solid 5-star feeling every time I use it—until the last step. I mean, we’ve got steam, we’ve got sterilization, we’ve got drying, so why does it seem like my bottles are still a little… damp? It’s like the machine goes, “Yeah, we’re all done here,” but forgets to finish that final 1% of perfection.I’m sitting there thinking, “Is this a trick?” The bottles are sterile and sanitized—yes. But I still have to give them a quick towel-dry at the end, because apparently the dryer function just isn’t quite as dry as it promises. Maybe it’s just shy, like, “Oh, you wanted perfectly dry bottles? Sorry, I’m just going to leave this one last bit of moisture for you to enjoy.” At least it’s not like the old days of towel-drying each bottle by hand, but still.That said, this thing does the job. The sterilizing process is incredibly efficient, and knowing my baby’s bottles are clean and free of germs in mere minutes feels like magic. I love that it works for bottles, pacifiers, and breast pump parts. The steam power is real, folks. No more worrying about bacteria or that “not quite clean” feeling after washing by hand.
