Missy J's organic Unsweetened Carob Chips 8 Oz, Vegan, Gluten and Caffeine Free, Healthy Substitute for Chocolate, Perfect for Snacks and Treats

These are SOOOOO YUMMY! I've tried the Missy J's mint carob, unsweetened, sweetened, carob powder, mint carob bars (SOOO GOOD!), and brownie mix. It's all delicious! I just made a big order so it would last over the summer so I wouldn't have to risk it melting. It's packaged well, but I live in a place that gets over 110F in summer. I tried another brand of carob chips from a local grocery store, and they were disgusting. I'm happy to pay more for a quality product that actually tastes like chocolate. I also feel good supporting a small business. I usually order direct from their website because there are more options and they sometimes give discount codes. I can't eat chocolate because of the caffeine. With Missy J's, I don't miss it. I've made carob chip cookies (everyone thought it was chocolate), and I made a mug brownie with the carob powder last night. So decadent! I never thought I would get to enjoy that chocolate taste again. Thank you Missy J's!!

By Far, the best carob I've eaten! Have been eating carob for over 20 years due to tummy problems with chocolate containing caffeine & cane sugar. This is a perfect replacement for me.Carob can not be compared to chocolate, they are different!!.... but for those who can not consume chocolate, this is a fantastic replacement. Repeat buyer here. Slightly pricey. Will have to pace my purchases.My husband cooked me some oatmeal, carob chip, macadamia cookies. I ate the rest of the bag of carob chips by hand. 😁We will add these to trail nut mixtures, cookies, nice cream/vegan ice cream, candies & more!

Great for a non chocolate snack when the craving hit. Melts well, sugar not needed.

Missy J's Carob Chips are by far the best carob chips I've ever found. I use the unsweetened and stay almost entirely sugar free. I found them available on Amazon so I ordered 1 package of the unsweetened. What arrived is the sweetened. That is frustrating and I already opened it before I noticed, so I can't send it back. So, my review would be 5 stars for the product, but for the fact that I was sent the wrong item and I took off a star. But if you like carob, these are the best, smoothest, creamiest carob chips. And for me, the unsweetened is naturally sweet enough without any sweetener.

I was really surprised how good these taste. They taste different from chocolate but seem to satisfy that craving and not having any sugar or artificial sweetener they are surprisingly good. They don't taste like bitter dark chocolate. That's what I was expecting. They taste slightly more like milk chocolate, but not quite.

These are creamy and have a nice texture. The carob used in this has a bit of a sour taste. The sweetened version helps play down the sourness somewhat, but this isn’t my fave brand of carob chips. Maybe it would be less noticeable in a cookie or other baked item… not what I wanted them for.

When I first ordered this I was disappointed that free shipping didn’t seem to be available. But I specifically went looking for this product and wanted to restock it in my pantry. When it arrived I was So happy. The original package came carefully wrapped in foiled bubble wrap and there were also two cold packs. These unsweetened carob chips are awesome.I will be ordering more again from this vendor. Great care was definitely taken and goes beyond what some other food vendors are doing. Thank you so much.
