Mateus Asato Signature Asabi Overdrive Distortion

I didn’t buy this on Amazon, just FYI for the reader, but I saw a really stupid review and had to add my own.I bought this in February of 2022 after wanting it since it came out, and I’ve not been disappointed.You’re essentially getting 8 “pedals” in 1. You have 4 distortion circuits and 4 overdrive circuits built in, and you can swap the distortion circuits for new ones if you choose. You can access overdrive and distortion independently or simultaneously, and can even gain cycle the distortion side, which is actually far more useful than I originally thought.With MIDI, you really have all 8 circuits and gain cycling accessible at all times.My personal favorite are the Blue “Timmy” overdrive and the Magenta Distortion.

Manual missing and not available on manufacturers website. This is a complex unit and should include a user manual. Especially at this higher than most pricing!!I’m considering to return itSincerely,DANE Rebers

I don't know why anyone would leave a bad review for this product. The Jackson audio asabi is excellent at what it does.Strait forward and easy to use with NO need for an owners manual. There is a video explaining the pedal right on Jackson audio web sight if you need it.I also own the golden boy. Both pedals are great for what they do. The asabi has a lot of gain. Really too much but I am able to get great sounds by dialing it back. Highly recommend.

I didn't buy this pedal from Amazon but noticed it was given a bad rating for silly reasons. The manual is on their website and they even have a YouTube video explaining how it works. This thing can do so many things. The best distortion sounds I've ever played and the overdrive circuits are super good as well. Well done Jackson Audio!
