I bought two packages, expecting they were organic and paid extra accordingly; the packages don't say organic, only "natural" - which means nothing in my experience.

Q: Where is proof of 'superior to organic'? Also, country of origin, please.

The Blanched Sliced Almonds are Organic, but not yet Organic Certified. Therefor, we can't put the USDS Certified Organic Seal. The nuts are currently sourced from California, United States. The country of origin may change according to the season and to the best crop.

Q: How are the almonds pasteurized? With steam, or chemically?
