Broke my toes and this was the perfect shoe for recovery
I broke my big toe and the one next to it. I ordered this United Ortho Post-Op Shoe - Orthopedic Adjustable Recovery Shoe. It arrived fast and I was able to start using it right away.My toes could not have any downward pressure or pressure pushing my toes back toward my feet. With this shoe I simply put a soft wash cloth under the front half of my foot, which elevated my toes just enough that they were floating and did not have any downward or inward pressure. It worked so well I could start walking (cautiously) around my house with a few days of the break. I used it for the first three weeks and was able to use a wide toed tennis shoe after that.In my opinion it was a good price for a good solution to my broken toes and helped me get around and heal painlessly quicker than without it.

Great product for safety and comfort
Due to a fractured femur my leg swelled and I couldn’t get a shoe on my foot! I was flying home after 20 post op and I needed a shoe. Product was sturdy, could use on either foot! Highly recommend

Comfortable Shoe
I like that this shoe is for the right or left foot. I'm hoping I won't need it again but if I do and it happens to be my right foot the next time, I will have an orthopedic shoe to wear. I have a really large bandage on my big left toe and even though I ordered a women's large I wish the shoe was about a half an inch longer. The only other complaint that I have is that the strap that goes across the ankle is pretty long but I guess the company has to do that in case someone has thicker ankles than me. ☺️ I did end up cutting a little bit of the strap off because it had a tendency to touch the floor. The velcro straps stay in place and I've been wearing the shoe for 3 days now and have not had any problems with it.

Better than one from the doctor
I broke my pinkie toe. The shoe the doctor gave me has to be pulled tight to work, putting a lot of pressure on my broken too. It was also unstable. This shoe doesn't make my pinkie toe hurt more, is stable, stiff, and secures better. With four weeks to go in the shoe, I'm glad I upgraded. I bought the large and added an insole. I wear a 9.5 womens and this is barely long enough.

Boot replacement
Was ok for the product and kept me out of the boot. Ran small.

Great recovery shoe at a very reasonable price
I got this as I broke two toes. It is very comfortable believe it or not and easy to walk in. I do wear a shoe on the opposite foot to keep me balanced when walking. There is an adjustable strap for near the ankle area, which stays in place. It has definitely helped me through my injury. You will not be disappointed!!!

Rock hard jarring on the footand you only get one shoe.
I only received one shoe, which is extremely frustrating. I had surgery on both of my toes and obviously needed a pair—not a single shoe.I recently ordered a pair of sandals from another company where the product listing referred to it as “sandal” (singular), yet the item still came as a set of two. That’s standard. Most companies use the word “shoe” in the description and still deliver a pair. If this product is meant to include only one, that should be made explicitly clear in the description. Saying “shoe” is not enough—it should say “one shoe.”Beyond that, the product itself is awful. It’s rock hard and extremely uncomfortable. Every step sends a jarring vibration through the sole and up into the foot—exactly what someone recovering from surgery does not need.Altogether, I found the listing misleading and the product unusable. Very disappointed.

The ankle strap is too long.
I wear a women 8 and the medium was just barely long enough(size up). But the real problem is the ankle strap. The whole strap is the hook side of Velcro, the loop side is only at the very tip and when I cinch the strap up it’s hook side to hook side of the Velcro, they need the loop side much further down in the strap (ie it doesn’t stick) I could cut it and sew it, but I’m in a bit of pain after my foot surgery and don’t really feel like doing it. My recommendation is to look for a higher rated shoe. Allegedly, I’ll only need it for a couple of weeks so I will make due with it.
