Amazing as always Smaco makes good products
Just as the title say Smaco is awesome, this is my third purchase from Smaco and they have all excided my expectations! I have the compressor to fill my own tanks and the smaller tank with full face mask. I was wanting a little more dive time as my other one is small and last less than 10 minutes. This unit is rated for 20-30 mins! I'm so excited to put it to use in some nicer waters. For the price of smaco products you can't beat it! The product have all been excellent quailty. Eventually when I get certified I can use these as my back up tanks! If you decide to buy SMACO you won't regret it!

Great if you own a boat
The SMACO Scuba Tank is a compact and portable diving solution, ideal for short, shallow dives or emergency backup air. It’s lightweight, easy to refill with a hand pump or adapter, and convenient for travel. The build quality is solid, with durable aluminum construction and a user-friendly design. However, its air capacity is limited (typically around 10-20 minutes of dive time), making it unsuitable for deep or extended dives. While it’s great for snorkeling, pool training, or emergency use, serious divers will need a standard scuba setup. Overall, it’s a fun and practical gadget for recreational use.

It works , but beware
Got the tank, tried it in the pool. Here is a quick review. It worked well in the pool, the regulator and tank functioned as it should. However, there are a few things that need to take notes of. First of all, it does NOT give you 20 minutes of air, not even close to. It's a 1 Liter tank, which is about 1/10th the size of a regular 80cf diving tank, so it basically gives you 1/10th of whatever your breathing time is with a regular diving tank. I can usually breath 60 min with a regular tank in a dive, so no surprisingly, this tank gave me about 6 minute +/- of breathing time. Also, if you do not want to invest in an electric pump, do NOT buy it. I used my PCP electric pump to fill it up and it took almost 20 minutes. Simply can not imagine pumping it with a hand pump, it may take you whole day to fill it up. And despite what some of these tank sellers claim in their pictures, this is NOT for beginners. Do not try to play with this out in the wild if you are not a certified and experienced diver. I'd only try to use it in very shallow water like no more than 10-12 feet deep, where I can make to surface right away in any emergency.

Needed to change pool lights
This is perfect for changing out a pool light and not need to come up for air. I needed 15-20 minutes under water and this small tank was perfect. Makes doing this in the future a breeze.

Dive Store won't fill - UPDATED 11/5/2023 - UPDATED 5/6/2023
This product looks really nice and I was excited to use it, however my local dive shop refused to fill it due to the risks of it breaking underwater, and, not meeting the right amount of time (they said it's closer to 4-5 minutes). The bottle didn't have the correct accreditation for diving in the US (likely falsified because it's Chinese made) and the dive shop I went to had customers complain that the valve blows off on this exact model. They suggested I order 'Spare Air' as an alternative that they'd fill and is safe.------------------------------------------------------Update 5/1/2023: Darlene Henry reached out today to offer me a $20 Amazon gift card in exchange for me to delete my review above. Here is the latest response:“HelloBased on the review you wrote, we are aware that we have some issues with our products. We will upgrade and optimize our products and in the meantime we would like to give you a $20 Amazon gift card as an apology, which you can use to buy any product you like on Amazon. If you can delete the review, I will send you the gift card redemption code and you can redeem it directly on Amazon. We sincerely hope you will accept this offer. If you have other better ideas, please reply to us via email.Have a great day!“------------------------------------------------------Updated 5/6/2023: Dropping my review to 1-star for the harassing emails from vendor (5 emails)They upped the amount to $50 if I delete this review and admitted they aren't going to make their product any safer ("it's not gonna be right for everyone, right?"). This is pretty crazy, DO NOT TRUST this device underwater. Here was the last email:Come on, help meWe've tried our best to improve our productsI understand it has let you downCan you give us a chanceNo matter what kind of product it is, it's not going to be right for everyone, right? How about a $50 gift cardThis is the maximum amount I can apply for—————————————————————Updated 11/5/2023I’ve tried updating my review multiple times explaining my experience with Amazon on this matter (a vendor of theirs contacting me directly about a negative review), but Amazon won’t post my review of their handling. I’ll try this post to see if they block this one too.—————————————————————Updated 11/17/2023I contacted Amazon back in May explaining the situation. Amazon apologized and said it's completely against their policy to allow sellers to manipulate reviews. Yet even after providing them with the email exchange I had wit the vendor (the vendor shared a screen shot showing another customer of theirs who took the money to delete their negative review), and Amazon keeps this product up. I even explained the dangers in the US with this product, but they still keep this product up for sale!

Great for those simple dives
My son is thrilled with the system he purchased. As a certified diver, he finds the SMACO scuba tank to be the perfect system, which allows him to alternate between snorkeling and longer underwater treasure searching while in shallow water. Due to the tank O2 capacity it is not intended for long term underwater diving, but it does allow a treasure hunter to stay on the bottom long enough to utilize a metal detector or search an area more thoroughly.Highly recommend for anyone certified in diving in areas bulky tank systems are not needed.***however, you will need to rent a tank if you plan to utilize the system longer then 10min. (he leaves the O2 tank on dry land and refills when he returns from searching or attaches it to a paddle board) This method is easier then the "bike pump" style refill system and less expensive then the "electrical pump".Novice diver beware - you Can Not use just any system to refill the tank. It must be a refill system that is specifically designed to refill O2 tanks. (common household bike pumps and air compressors are dangerous)
