Dental Binocular Loupes 3.5 x 429mm Magnifier (Black)

For the price these are very nice. I'm using them for working on electronic projects. I did find the focal length was too long for up-close work but they provide a clip so you can attach them to your own glasses. So, I paired them with some reading glasses and the combination cut the focal length from ~400mm down to ~300mm which was perfect.They are not very heavy so they work fine attached to my existing glasses. The field of view is fairly small compared to less magnification types, but that's to be expected. I use them mainly when I need some extra magnification.There is no LED but for me that was a feature. I didn't want the extra weight of the light/battery.

Cheap, as expected. But the frames cracked and the coating comes off within a month of normal wear. Magnification is by decent.

Bought these for my husband for work. Did not want to spend $$$ on loops when he only uses them once in a while. The few times he has to use them, they worked just fine. Makes it easier to work when precision is needed without having to be up close to the patient. Comes in a nice little case that keeps them secure.

I have tried several other loupe sets in the ER and working on small parts. These are stable, easy to adjust and work really well. Medical loupes can be $1600 dollars and I would use them rarely so this was the right decision for me,

I didn't get a light with them.

Get these! I have been a dental hygienist for 26 years and I thought I’d try loupes for the first time recently. I didn’t want to pay thousands of dollars, so I thought I’d start here and see if I could even wear them. I was planning on upgrading if I liked them, but I don’t need a stinking upgrade! These are fantastic! I purchased a 3.5 magnification, and I can actually see that little dang probe now! They stay on well, do not fog up, are lightweight, and easily adjustable. Couldn’t ask for more for the price point. I’ve told all my coworkers about them, and several others are going to try them. The ones that paid thousands of dollars are so jealous!

I feel this set could have been great. But I waited a long time to receive and when I opened the package there wasn't a headlamp so now I don't have what I need and have to find another hopefully it will include all parts.

Easy to focus and comfortable to wear so far, I did buy these loupes so I could use the provided clips to attach to my eyeglasses. Used the provided screwdriver and it stripped the first screw immediately, so there goes that. If you plan on detaching these to ice on your own glasses use a different screwdriver.
