With the size I bought you can fit a 5lb chicken in it (that would be cleaned weight) anything larger it’s a tight fit. Very happy with it.

These cones are a great design! We process a lot of pasture chickens and we like these cones the best (the two on the right end in pic) because the chickens can’t kick their way out. The other four cones pictured are also from Amazon, but are terrible. You can see the other cones “v” down in the front and it’s hard to get the chickens to stay in the cones after 🪓. Very poorly designed. It’s not ideal having a flock flopping all over the ground due to crappy cones.Our birds range from 6-10 pounds and we process in batches of ten. We simply bring the ten straight from pasture in that little wagon hooked to the 4wheeler. Once those are on ice, we go get another group.To clean, we spray down with the garden hose. Then we take the cones down and soak in dish soap in a storage tub. Easy peasy!We’ll be adding 4 more of these cones, and eventually replacing the four junk ones in the pic.Highly recommend, buy with confidence here, friends!

Too small for 8lb live weight Cornish Cross Broilers. Our 9lb-ers definitely didn’t fit. But they worked well for smaller birds. Most cost effective I could find.I’ll be getting the next size up for this coming year.

These cones are well made. I expect to get many years of use out of them.

Easy to use, but the metal thickness were you attach to the board is really thin with the chickens being dispatched, they would jump around and ended up ripping the holes out. Placed a 1/4 in aluminum on the back and redrilled the holes for mounting works good now. Really my only complaint. Worked great for 50+ birds in one day

Have no problem, worked well for processing Cornish Cross. Easy to hose off after use.

We had issues getting our chickens in these cones, description says 8 to 10lbs chicken, turkey, etc. We harvested a rooster that dressed out at 6.5lbs which would make him 8lbs maximum! We had any extremely hard time getting him in the cone and could barely find his head... Not my first rodeo I've done this many times but wanted new cones. These are very small and will not hold a bird over 5lbs maximum. Description is decieptful and absolutely offers zero exchange for larger cones even if I pray they difference. I do NOT recommend these or this company and will return them! At this point a modified traffic cone would work much better!
