Ordered this light, and it did not work. I returned it according to the return instructions. 2 months later I'm still trying to receive my refund. Amazon has not been helpful at all during this process. Do not buy this light from this seller.

I was pleasantly surprised that this was exactly what I needed to replace the broken lamp for my unit. It even included instructions and a new gasket and tape to seal the unit after replacing the lamp. I could not find the replacement from the dealer where I purchased the original unit. Very pleased with this purchase.

pros, the company selling the item, IOQ solutions is awesome. great customer service, great price, and shipped fast and well packed to arrive undamaged.Cons I honestly in the end changed my unit to another company that has bulbs that last longer and are cheaper. These bulbs are around $200 and stay on 24/7 and only last about 2 years. and the bulb is only 8-9 inches long in the duct. I went with a 14 inch bulb, that covers more inside the duct, that will cost 1/3 less, The other unit only is "on" when the unit is on, which saves bulb life too. of course some will argue that the bulb should be on even when not operating to "kill germs" in the off time in duct. ..The other issue is that most units simply plug into a 120 volt socket. making it easy to "wire up".. The Air Knight unit works off a 24 volt transformer, and its 50/50 if installers wire it up correctly. some HVAC people dump the transformer, wiring it up incorrectly directly the "burner" and this shorten life of bulb and can "fry" the whole unit! You really need a highly experienced Professional, really familiar with Air Knight to properly install it. .Overall a ok unit but a little too expensive for my budget

Installed easy and came with foam sealing material and an outside seal. The outside seal did not work so well, so I just used chrome duct tape.

Installation was easy and straightforward. The included instructions are sufficient. My bulb did not illuminate at first. I opened the unit up and found that the fuse inside had blown. With that fixed, the bulb came on and the familiar clean smell has returned. YAY!
