Very strong, and good tea
I really like these a lot. They are very tasty, and potent. They are big, but I usually soak 10 grams at a time anyway. Great tea taste with no astringency at all. Highly recommended.

Very Chinese! These 1" giant pearls are individually wrapped.
Ive had black dragon pearls but never like these monsters. The tea is very long leaf and pretty...though it took a very long brew (7") to get the full taste out....This is medium strength...rather light for this 'black dragon pearl' What i like about these and most Chinese teas is lower tanin so no burping as with Indian teas. Sorry i cant give higher score but the flavour was not very pronounced.

Very strong, good flavor
I like this tea a lot, it has a good strong flavor and seems very fresh, I like that each pearl is individually wrapped. Mine seem stronger than advertised, I like my tea strong and usually have to use a little more than recommended on the package, but with this it was the opposite. I followed their instructions the first time and ended up having to water it down to make it drinkable and have since figured out the correct ratio of water to pearls. That is not a complaint in any way, I am essentially getting more than I had originally thought for my money, with these smaller batch teas I expect there to be some variance in strength and taste, and it definitely tastes like Chinese tea.

Very good tea
I moved on from commercial tea bags about a year ago and have been experimenting with different teas from different regions.I've discovered that the best tasting teas are from Yunan, the better teas from there are the pearl teas. This "brand" does not disappoint!Pros:Nice, rich flavor. Easy to use...just unwrap the ball, place into a strainer and steep. The pearls are on the large size, which is nice for a tea drinker like me that likes a strong tea, but if you prefer a more moderate flavor, one pearl can make several cups.Con:Since the pearls are large it does take longer to steep. That big ball needs several minutes to unfurl and truly develop flavor. It also means your microwave may not get the water hot enough. The water needs to be boiling and the steeping time is about seven minutes.Last con...but only for newbies with loose leaf tea, my package was totally in Mandarin Chinese. No English instructions. I didn't mind as I know how to brew pearl tea.

Quality black tea
The balls are larger than I expected but they made 5 pots and each one had a different profile. Something you would except from a quality tea. Whole buds with gold streaks. I will buy it again

Very large
These pearls are pretty large, for me 1 makes a few cups of tea. Good flavor, will order again.

Hairs rolled into the pearls!
I ordered some black dragon pearls as a treat for myself, since they do tend to be pricey and as such I don't have them very often. Seven ounces for nineteen dollar seemed like a good deal.Much to my disgust, some of the pearls had long black hairs rolled into them. Thankfully the contaminated pearls never made it into my cup, but after finding five that had hairs in them I really don't want to take my chances with the rest.
