Great product for price and sustainability. My 4 year old loved it!

Ive never rated something less than 5 stars until now. I bought this for my son as a Christmas gift, I felt like the description didn’t provide enough detail for the product & it was a little misleading. I’m disappointed I paid 11 dollars for a flimsy foam turtle shell when I could have paid a few more dollars for something more durable. I thought the design was nice & very realistic but the quality of the material was not what I hoped for. While it does state it’s made from EVA, most people don’t know what that is & it didn’t specify the product quality fully in the description. It also was under 3T & it’s much bigger than 3T in my opinion. It also came dented because it was stuffed in a polymailer & thrown in a box with other products I ordered.

Wow this things a printed foam sheet and 2 straps glued on it, first attempt at putting it on 1 strap came unglued. Not dependable to last as an accessory.

I used these as chair decorations in my turtle themed classroom. All my students did was pull their chair out from under the table and one of the strings broke. Two shells broke in the first 30 seconds of class!! They were so upset, as was I. I ended up stapling the elastic string to the foam body. They seemed to hold well after that. The foam turtle shell is a nice soft foam and the staples seemed to hold nicely.

The shell is thinner than I thought it would be. It bends and folds easily. The band ends are spaced far apart. I'm sure they did it so adults could wear it also but for my 8 year old it made it hard for the shell to stay in place. It ended up working out because I was able to put the sword sheath underneath the shell without bunching.

The actual shell looks reasonably good, color and texture, etc. but the shell’s elastic straps are hot glued and one snapped in literally the first 5 minutes. Some scotch tape has been holding it on since we purchased for Christmas. It’s a bit too big for my large 2yo (he’s in 4T clothing), but it’s perfectly sized for my large 5yo (he’s in 7-8 kids). It’s just lightweight, printed foam. Don’t expect anything super fancy for the price point.

It’s a little bigger than I thought it would be but perfect for my 5 yos costume, it’s soft and flexible. The straps did break right away so I had to hot glue them back on but other than that it was good

I bought it for my three year old grandson because he’s in the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle stage and he hates it! It’s very flimsy and soft!
