Works Great, Makes Your Throw Rugs Much Safer
I went through one jar and just ordered a second. Pricey, but worth it, especially for those with mobility issues or older folks who could trip and fall over throw rugs. Also recommended for those who make rag rugs to help keep them from sliding all around. Definitely recommend this product. Oh one thing to remember, this stuff is VERY thick, I got much better results by mixing it in a bowl with some water, spreads much much more easily. It does have a bit of fumes, not too bad, but apply in ventilated area, put rug in unused room, garage, etc to dry. Once dry there's no odor at all. Also, you don't need to coat entire back of rug, works well doing a crisscross pattern, or maybe just the border edge on small rugs. This saves using up all your pricey product and saves you time, too. Your mileage may vary.

Good for replacing old rubberized grips
I have four chair pads with a rubberized grip finish over foam. The fabric side is still in good condition, the bottom not so much! I really don’t like throwing things out unless they’re completely worn, so I thought this would be a good repair. I’ve had the pads for four years and with daily use, the rubberized finish has partially cracked and worn off. They have also lost their “grip” and they were sliding around on the wood dining chairs. I previously tried to cut rug grip material to hold them in place, and it worked for about a week and then they started sliding around again. Happy to say that yhis stuff seems to have done the trick! I used a rubberized art painting tool to apply it and it went on perfectly. I was able to seal in the exposed foam also, it was like frosting over a crumbling cake in parts. I let it dry in the sun, where it dried fairly quickly. I might add it to the bottoms of a couple of rugs that I have also, because they also have stopped gripping. I’d say give it a try if you’re at your wits end.I applied it outside, it had almost a musty smel like mushrooms, didn’t bother me. Didn’t smell toxic, as I feared it might. Cleanup was easy, I just wiped the art tool with a paper towel.

Doesn't cover nearly what it claims, but it does work really well
I ordered this product after researching for something I could use on a small area rug. I thought sprays would be the best choice for coverage, but took a chance and ordered this one.I coated the back of a small 2'x3' rug last night, using a foam paint brush. It went on white, which was nice so I could ensure I got it applied evenly. It was the consistency of Greek yogurt, which worked well for spreading it and getting it in all the nooks and crannies in the fabric. I let it dry overnight, and this morning it was clear and rubbery. It works really well to keep my rug from slipping around, and it's bonded perfectly to the fabric on the back of the carpet. If it gets a lot of fuzz or dirt stuck to it, I will be able to spray it and wipe it clean again.I really like that it washed out of the paint brush with just water and soap, and that my rug only needed one thick coat. But I'm disappointed that the claims of "16-Ounce covers approximately 15-square feet based on 2 brush coats" is totally wrong. I have about 1/5 of the container left after one coat on a very small (6 sq ft) rug.I'd buy this product again based on the ease of application and the final results, but I'm knocking off one star for the overstated claims on the container.Edited May 2015: I'm still very happy with this product! I've used Windex and a rag a few times to clean the rubberized surface. It's still non-skid and it hasn't made the rug curl either.

Awesome product.
I love this stuff, carpet tape and all that other stuff does'nt work like this. I croquet rugs and this is aweome for them.I have all wood floors and none of my rugs move at all. I also croquet slippers and this works just as good. I'm gonna keep stocking up on this wonderful product. There is nothing else out there in my book.

This product works SO well!!! Very impressed.
I wasn’t sure if I would like this product at all. There is a strange scent to it and it’s very hard to spread on the bottom of the carpet. I use the foam paintbrush, but after reading reviews, using an old credit card or hotel key probably would’ve been a lot easier. As you can see in the pictures, I sort of just applied it in spots all over the runner. I used a full jar of product on a 3 x 9‘ runner. It starts out white in color, and when it dries, it turns clear/yellow as you can see in the second picture. It’s not sticky after it dries, but it really does an awesome job, preventing the rug from skidding prior to using this, I used that rug adhesive tape on the bottom of the runner, and it was almost impossible to remove from my floors, and I felt like it was going to damage them. (I would never use that again!)I will 1000% use this product again in the future.
