the ink will disappear after a while due to heat exposure. that is the reason it is erasable with friction. Friction also produces the heat needed to erase it. If it erases accidentally after some days without u doing anything to the paper, PUT UR SHEET IN THE REEZER FOR A WHILE (NORMALLY ABOUT 1 MINUTE). everything will come back to 100%clarity. cheers....... i use this for all my stuff

I love these! The ink is very smooth, colorful, and also erases very well!

Pros:- Excellent to replace most mechanic pencils as ball pen feels smoother than writing with pencil.- Comes with an eraser that seems to be exclusively designed to erase its ink without hurting the paper (even regular copy paper).- Its eraser last a very long time.- Excellent case and clip design. I have not broken none clip yet (over 1 year + using them daily, several hours per day).- Can buy refill replacement.- Excellent tool when working with documents where mistakes are not allowed but you have a high probability to make them (like filling inspection forms, requests forms, claim forms) because you also have to meet production standards.Cons:- Its ink will get from dark black to gray as ink in the container is getting near end of usage life.- Its eraser will smudges when erasing pencil written notes.- Ink will fade, significantly (like almost desapear), if written paper is damped or exposed to much time under direct heated sun light (like inside of your car and on top of its seats for a couple of days).- Ink last much less than regular pen. Buy replacement sooner than later.Excellent tool for site inspectors, life insurance agents, or sales people that usually work outside of the office.

Maybe it doesn't last super long, and maybe it is relatively expensive, but once I used this pen, it is the only one I like to use since. The erasable ink is amazing - erases cleanly and easily. Writes smoothly. Love it.
