Very effective
These are best suited I think to plug into your PC wireless card, if your PC is under your desk the signal will be pretty weedy, but these can be mounted on your desk, up on your screen in the open air to increase signal, very happy with the increase in my internet speed.

Are they effective? YES!
My wifi router is located in a different building from my PC - with the standard aerials that came with the PC I was getting 10Mbps.... with these, simply by positioning them higher up and towards the direction of my router (attaching them magnetically to a tin can on a shelf) I am now getting 35Mbps! Unfortunately I cant still only manage 2.5GHz band with these but that's just the issue with the number of walls my wifi signal has to travel through - and 35Mbps is pretty much what I get plugged directly into the router anyway!

Cheap, cheerful and effective
Purchased for use with my mobile router in the campervan. They have a magnetic base which means they can be fixed on the van roof (When Stationary) They provide a reasonable signal, but of course it depends on the area your in. Over all cheap, cheerful and effective.

Useless, didn't work for us.
Actually made the data signal worse.Bought on off chance it would improve our signal, it doesn't, even though when connected they were placed outside our caravan the signal reduced to nothing. With the small antenna re-atttached, even inside our caravan the signal hovers around 3 to 4 which is adequate.May work for some but not us.

No improvement.
I wanted this to improve the reception on my Symphony Internet radio. However, it was no improvement over the manufacturer supplied black plastic folding aerial even when sited on a more direct signal path from the router, so a waste of money.

Good 4g aerial
People that say these don't work are you turning them on in router settings cuz I went from 1 to 2 negs to 6 to 10 megs by using these 10/10

NOT for 5 or 6GHz. 2.4GHz performance is good, other frequesncy ranges is aweful.
NOT for 5GHZ, original ariel gave me 300MBps in my garden office, doen from 900ish, this arieal got me 40GBps, tested several time. Does greatly imprve 2.4GHz reception though, but thats not what I need.

Took the risk, it was worth it!
Like many others who bought this they were skeptical, so was I.I've had to move my pc downstairs as my room is being re-done, and is as far away from the router as it could beOn my old antenna I would constantly drop signal on 2.4 Ghz and was very unreliable, and don't even get me started on 5 Ghz was unusableBut this new one is great! It's getting great speeds on both 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz now and very reliably too.I will update if anything changes but for now this seems like a great purchaseEdit: after some re adjusting the position now getting 70mbps on 5Ghz, even better!
