Excellent product
This is an excellent knife for slicing cheeses. It even makes a clean cut through soft cheese such as Brie. It is well made and a pleasure to use.

Really like it
I like Tuo paring knives. The ones i have are well balanced and fit my hand very well. And they aren't terribly expensive.

Very good quality at this price point!
I ordered this and its Kiritsuke counterpart as a bundle. Pleasantly surprised at what I received! I looked for flaws that had been mentioned in a few of the reviews, and found none! I love to cook, and these two knives should help make things go faster, and easier. I cannot comment on the edge durability as of yet, but will say they are both very sharp. I used the Kiritsuke to make short work of a large seedless watermelon the very next day. Quartered & sliced effortlessly. Used my filleting knife to lose the rinds for more compact packing, and easier eating. I own a set of Henkels, and find these comparable. I should get a good feel for the cleaver when I make my next batch of cat food. At this point, I would recommend buying them. There is a lot of marketing hype when it comes to knife brands, these are well priced, and the quality is there! I intend to buy a couple more. I will update if necessary.**UPDATE**I made 8 lbs of ground up chicken and Turkey cat food this morning. I put the frozen boneless thighs in a cooler yesterday for defrosting. Today they were about 40% defrosted. The cleaver cut through the somewhat frozen thighs and the defrosted meat like a razor. I cut it all into 1" pieces for the food processor. I was not chopping, but slicing thru everything. It was effortless!!!! Had it all cubed in 5 + minutes. I am getting to love these two knives!**Another Update**As a gift I ordered another of the heavier cleaver and the Kiritsuki for my brother and sister in law. They do a lot of entertaining, and food prep. My brother also makes his own jerky year round. They love these knives! A year later another gift of the boning and birds beak paring knives, also a big hit. I purchased my 1st ones over 2 years ago, and they get regular use. I insist on using sharp knives, as they are safer. I have sharpened mine maybe 3 times over the 2+ years. I also hand wash. All of them, including the gifted knives are holding up extremily well with minimal maintenence. I'm getting ready to order the steak knife set without hesitation.

If you don't have one of these, get it now!
Best small knife on the market. Had one years ago and lost it, and this one matches the other knives in the set. Razor sharp, so BE CAREFUL with it. Perfect for preparing fruits, pitting peaches, nectarines, etc. Slices through anything like butter. I was lost without mine, and I looked at some priced much higher but this one is amazing and well worth the price.

Fruit knife
This is the most perfect fruit knife. My husband loved it so much, I got one for my son and daughter for Christmas. They loved theirs too.

Pin in handle not flush with sharp edges
5 knife reviewUnder $30Fukep - 3.5" pairing knifeUnder $20Imarku - 3.5" pairing knifePaudin - 3.5" pairing knifeUnder $15Tuo Osprey - 3.5" pairing knifeTuo Falcon - 3.5" pairing knifeCompared to my Shun 3.5" pairing knifePaudin - End cap not flush with blade and had multiple metal burrs. Ordered it 2 times, both had the same end cap issue. One handle had split. Blade was heavy compared to handle and felt off balance. Sharp out of the box, but did not cut anything as it was Returned prior to cutting.Tuo Osprey - very large pairing knife. Felt awkward in the hand. Probably a personal preference, but was not for me. Sharp out of the box. Did not cut anything as it was Returned prior to cutting.Tuo Falcon - decent weight. Looked good. But the pins/ rivets in the handle were not flush with the wood. The edge of the rivet was sharp and made it uncomfortable / difficult to use. Sharp out of the box. Did not cut anything as it was Returned prior to cutting.Imarku - handle felt good, slightly heavier than the shun 85g compared to 62g. Blade length good, handle length is good. Sharp out of the box. Cut as easily as the shun. Time will tell how often this needs to be Sharpened.Fukep - looks great. All of my other knives have wood handles so the polymer is fun. Most comparable to the shun from a handle design. Good handle feel. Good weight 72g compared to 62g. Sharp out of the box, but had massive resistance during cutting. Almost felt like the blade had a scandi or convex grind. Aka, like trying to cut an apple in half with an axe. Returned.Overall. The Imarku blade was the best from a price/ performance standpoint.
