Awesome for the price, definitely consider.
I got this monitor on sale and so for the price I paid (Just over $150) this is definitely a five star product. This monitor is very good and provides you with a clear and crisp screen as well as a good viewing angle. The size of this screen is very nice and allows for a good resolution-to-size ratio. It reacts quickly and I have not noticed anything odd or wrong with the product thus far. I would like to state however that the button placement as well as the settings does bother me a slight bit. They are placed on the size and you can't always tell when the monitor is on as well as the settings being rather a pain to access as there are no clear indications as to what does what just dots. As for the technical details this screen is viable for almost any game as well as movies etc. It is only 60hz, which for some people isn't high enough, but for the vast majority it is more than enough.A lot of people think you need the best graphics cards or processors or even monitors for video games, this is not true. The large majority of video games will play very smoothly on this monitor and unless you like to buy the best of everything or have a large amount of money to spend this will more than work for you.Anything with an asterisk(*) I will go into further detail about below.-View angle 5/5-Resolution 5/5-Bevel 4/5-Settings 4/5-Buttons 4/5-Inputs 5/5 (includes HDMI)-Compatibility 4/5*So about the compatibility, this isn't a direct complaint to the monitor itself, however I felt it should be stated anyway. If you intend to use this monitor with windows 8/8.1 it will definitely work, but you may notice some oddities. Due to the nature of Windows 8 there is a lot of transparency and you may notice that some windows you will be able to see through slightly. This doesn't affect the use too much, however it may bug some people. I for one switched back to Windows 7 and do miss some features of 8, but I am going to wait for Windows 10 before changing again.Overall this monitor is wonderful and if you can pick it up for under $160 I would definitely recommend it, I may at some point purchase two more and run three of them for gaming.

The inside box was completely fine and had no damage
This is a review of BenQ GL2760H 27-inch HDMI LED-lit Monitor.Package arrived today with 2 day prime shipping as was offered. The package was a box with paper cushioning, the additional inside box included the monitor. The inside box was completely fine and had no damage. Both boxes were taped securely. When the monitor box was opened there was plastic and Styrofoam protecting all the pieces inside the BenQ box. After removal of the parts inside I began assembly. There is only 1 d-sub cable in the box. No dvi-i, or hdmi cables are included. There is 2 base parts , the stand base and the neck that connects to the monitor. Both are made of plastic and were protected from scratches by plastic sheeting. The base to the neck was connected with a lift type thumb screw and was very easy I needed no tools. The neck slid onto the monitor with ease. After checking the assembly of the base, neck and monitor, I set the assembly on my desk. The assembly is a little wobbly from the metal piece that slides into the monitor from the neck. This created a slightly off level monitor.I checked it with a level and sure enough the monitor sits about 1/8 of an inch off level to the left if you are facing the front of the monitor.I checked instructions to see if there was any way to adjust the level. There is not.The way I resolved this was to stick a wooded match head about 1/8 thick in the base between where the base screw connects to the neck on the left side to keep the base from pulling completely in place, like a shim would be.The monitor on the stand measures 19 1/2 inches high and 25 1/4 inches wide. The stand base measures about 8 3/8 inches front to back, and 9 1/2 side to side. The cable connections are on the back are vertical hidden out of the way. You can see this on the back side photo on the Amazon web site. This did create me needing a screw driver to connect the dvi cable as I could not turn the thumb screw on the dvi cables as there was not enough room for my fingers to turn the thumb screws on the dvi cable. After plugging in the monitor dvi cable in as this was my method, I plugged the monitor into a surge protector and turned on the monitor. The BenQ turned on a recognized the dvi cable. The colors were good right away with no adjustment. I am using windows 10, and a gtx 970 video card. This appears to be a good monitor and worth the price. I was not compensated in any way for this review,

it's a good price and savings
Bought this because I wanted a bigger monitor. Previously had monitor that was 24 inch and 4 years old and wanted a monitor that was bigger to hook up to my laptop when I'm at home.I bought before black friday for $183.95 total which was $12 more than Amazon selling + shipping. Still compared to other deals out there, it's a good price and savings.I like this monitor a lot, you can adjust the angle of the monitor up and down (not side to side) and it's a large size which is what I wanted. I'm not familiar too much with all the specifications, to me a monitor is just a monitor. The resolution seems unchanged from my old one and it's not the greatest resolution in my limited experience opinion. One thing I like is the ability to adjust the blue light and brightness and how easy it is with the buttons on the right side. When I first connected, it was really bright and I couldn't even look at the monitor it hurt my eyes somehow (not just from brightness, maybe the blue light?). I adjusted it down and it became much easier on my eyes, reducing the blue light to reading. There's still some things I need to learn about the features of light, etc for this monitor. But if you're looking for a large size 27 inch monitor with reasonable picture quality (or it's not as important to you as gamers) for a very competitive price, at least that I got, this is a good monitor to go to.
