Allen Sports Deluxe 4-Bike Hitch Mount Rack with 2-Inch Receiver by Allen Sports

Bike rack failed on my first drive. One of the bars the bikes sit on bent down 4", I did not even go over 60 mph. Contacted Allen Customer support, and they were not helpful at all. And stated the won't help resolve the issue. They will not even sell me replacement parts. They said it was a liability.These Allen Sports customer service issues aligns with what other reviewers have said about Allen Sports and their poor customer support. STAY AWAY FROM THIS BIKE RACK.Two aluminum adult bikes should not break a hitch bike rack.ALLEN SPORTS: I invite you to help me resolve this issue and turn this bad experience around. I would be glad to update this review.

En general es un buen, se ve resistente, sirve para lo que fué hecho y es barato.PERO...NO LO RECOMIENDO SI LO QUIEREN PARA ESTARLO PONIENDO Y QUITANDO. El producto está hecho para Estados Unidos donde no te roban pero aquí en México hay que estarlo quitando y poniendo cada ves.ATENCIÓN: NO COMPRAR EL CANDADO: "Master Lock 2866DAT 1/2 in. and 5/8 in. Swivel Head Receiver Lock for Class I-IV, 1 Pack, Black" CON ESTE ARTICULO como vine recomendado en la publicación de aquí de Amazon, no funciona ya que oara que el Rack quede firme tiene que ser instalado con el tornillo que viene en el rack, es un tornillo especial con 2 niveles de grosor que hacen que el rack quede presionado internamente en el agujero del jalón.El rack por si solo tiene demasiado juego dentro del agujero del jalón por lo que usarlo con otro tornillo o con el candado Master Lock antes mencionado no es posible.Es una lata estar cargando matraca y perica para todos lados para poder estarlo poniendo y quitando, la tuerca es de seguridad y pronto se va a vencer la rosca interna y va a dejar de apretar, REPITO: ESTE RACK ESTÁ DISEÑADO PARA MONTARSE Y AHÍ DEJARSE, no lo hubiera comprado de haber sabido esto antes.Espero le sirva a alguien para saber las implicaciones de estarlo instalando y desinstalando diario.

I am not an active biker. I just needed one to carry 4 bikes (2 adults, 2 kids) whenever we wanted to go to biking trails. Obviously I didn't want to spend a fortune on some of the industry standard names. The problem with bike racks is that, if you do not buy a quality one, it is as good as not buying one. In this dilemma I bumped into this product and was surprised to see great reviews, while the cost was very competitive. Who are you kidding, this bike rack costs 1/3rd the price of some of the great names. I simply wanted to try this for myself and if it doesn't work, I can always return it.Thanks to Allen, it never gave me the hassle of returning it. It is a great product at an amazing price. It comfortably holds 5 bikes, fits perfectly on my 2019 Subaru Ascent 2" receiver. Its got a few glitches like it is not very convenient to lower a fully loaded rack to open the trunk. Other than that it is an extremely nice product and would recommend this to anyone looking to buy good rack at an awesome price.UPDATE: After 2 months of usage, it is observed that when there are no bikes and the stand folded down, the main rack doesn't sit still. Its wobbly and makes this weird noise. A simple solution is to tie it with a band but yet its not a good thing. I wish it was sat sturdier.

WARNING- Please heed this warning - regrettably I had given this a 5 star rating after our first trip. Then just today August 6/17 while traveling home from camping the entire frame (see pics) broke right off and fell onto the road right in front of traffic. Vechicles ran over them and all 5 bikes (two were less than a month old) were destroyed. Thank God no one was injured. This product clearly has a defect and is dangerous. The rack I believe is about 14 months old and we have used it on about 7 trips or so. I will be contacting Amazon and this seller to see what they will do. I will keep you informed.

La descripción del producto podría ser, caben 4 bicicletas (hay que desarmar los postes de las bicis, se entiende, pero a menos que tengas solo bicicletas de fibra de carbono ultra ligeras o bicis para niño de rueditas pero sin rueditas (no las soportaría).es apto para cargar 1 o 2 bicicletas, yo tuve que ir con un herrero y reforzar las uniones y poner tornillos de refuerzo para que soportara 4 bicicletas, solo así pude usarlo ya que la estructura ya se había vencido.
