Good value, all fire extinguishers, never pick up the wrong fire fighting extinguishers with these units

I have a couple Firexo larger extinguishers in the house and wanted something small for the car as I was going on a road trip for 10 days with 3 others jamned into our VW Golf and this little extinguisher fitted nicely into a rear cubby hole in the boot of the Golf hatchback. Mine came with a metal wire wall bracket which allows it to be mounted securely on a wall, but for my needs in the car, the bracket wasn't required.Thankfully I haven't need to use this thing but am confident it'll; do the job, I think it's easy to forget that car fires can happen and we should be prepared.

I like the all metal construction and safety equipment should be sturdy for the cause. Upon arrival I put it in room temperature for 36 hours and the pressure was still at the very low end of green zone. Not great if this is meant for at least 3 years (warranty). Customer service does respond promptly saying that many factors contribute to the pressure level ….. but not addressing how long it would last.

Very quick delivery and highly recommend as will be used on all fires. Saves having multiple diff extinguishers in the house. Bought 2 2litre models. Ideal for the house or caravan. Maybe a little big for a small car. Not has a chance to use, but recommend as a safety thing just in case.

I will update this review if I ever have cause to use them, but without a fire to test them on, all I can say is that I feel peace of mind from having these dotted about our house, which has an open fire, gas central heating and a 4 year old amongst other hazards.It would be perverse to hope for a fire to test these, so I'll just say that everything about them seems sturdy, that the "cages" (or whatever you call them) for fixing them to the wall are fine as long as you can safely operate a drill, and that the bundle on offer seemed like a sound investmentat a reasonable price.I haven't yet looked into recharging them when the pressure drops (no need yet, dials still in the green) so I can't comment on that, but they should hopefully be reliable for a good few years without that being needed yet.

Always difficult to rate fire extinguishers because you don't know if they work until you use them. I've read great reviews for this make and equally bad reviews (by people who claim to be experts). The extinguisher claims to put out the majority of different fires and is ideal if it lives up to its claims. They have a EN3 certification (European fire testing standard), but as far as I can see, no BS certification (British standard). They also have CE certification (European health, safety and environmental protection standards). There is no expiry date and the recommendation is to have them tested by an qualified person every year. They have a pressure gauge which should always be in the green zone and they should be stored upright. The 500ml extinguisher I bought comes with a carrier which can be screwed to the wall. The discharge time claimed by the manufacturer on the 500ml extinguisher is only 10-12 seconds, so would only be useful for very small fires. I bought this for my caravan and I have also purchased a fire safety stick (much more expensive 50 second discharge, BSi certified,15 year shelf life), because its better to be safe than sorry in a caravan and this way I have two means of protection.

I needed an option to provide fire fighting kit in a small office and this dual unit of 2 extinguishers really hit the spot. As they cover all types of fires they are flexible and idea. Just hope not to use them.
