Better?
Better than the default battery that came with my Hero 4. I use this for airsoft and use the camera inside the waterproof care above water!A 30 minute game killed the battery. Heat induced? I don't know. But I charge a different battery between games. This makes it so much easier when I can charge 2 while using 1. Never, not had, a full battery because of this purchase! Which is why I gave the 5 stars! It does more than I expected!

I use Go Pro for my 3 hour cycling commute. I find the Go Pro battery lasts just 1 way of the 2-way journey - so this charger is great, so I get extra 2 batteries, and have a spare 1 at all times. Takes only about 10 mins to fully recharge - and helpfully the charger shows you how far each battery is charged! Very pleased with this, thanks.

No charge and Go Pro stopped working after trying to use these batteries!!

A report on regular use of this product
I make YouTube videos so I get need to charge maybe 20 GoPro batteries per month. The three batteries supplied with this work OK with the camera but don't last as long as the genuine GoPro battery that was supplied new with the GoPro in 2015. I estimate that the charge lasts about 60% as long as the genuine batteries. The big problem is with the charger contacts. Right out of the box I have had trouble with the charger and battery contacts engaging to make a reliable connection. You have to gingerly wiggle them until they make contact. If there are three batteries in the charger then when you wiggle one you have to be very careful not to disturb others as they lose contact, then it turns into a plate spinning act. Having said all that I still use it almost on a daily basis. Close but no cigar!!
