Love it!
Bought this for my keys vacation. First time spearfishing and was able to learn and practice in shallow water for a few shots, then hit skirts of some reefs and speared a few fish on my first couple shots! Breaks down for convenient storage in the boat. Sturdy rubber tip for the spear when stored. The sling is strong and allows a quick, accurate and powerful shot. Love it and cant wait to use it again!

Works on most fish.
I've caught smaller red drum, lion fish, and few others, It's a very good spear for the price, I've had it for a couple of years unfortunately I lost it at sea over the summer.

Band is stronger than the pole itself.
I don't get to dive much these days. Got it so I could get my gf into snorkeling, we both charter fish for a living so it's tough to make time for ourselves to get on the water doing anything other than fishing like we are always setup to do. Seems like a great pole spear for the price. Do NOT load the band fully. You will likely break the pole where it is joined together. She shot a fish on our first snorkeling trip. Great results. I finally got to spearfish on scuba late this summer. First dive, prepping for first shot. Pole snaps under a load while a 10lb grey(mangrove/black) snapper just stares me in the face. Luckily was able to go retrieve the old hand-me-down spear gun I've used for years at the anchor. Tied the pole spear off to the anchor hastily, more like tangled it in there... Harvested some really good fish and returned to the boat. Pulled the anchor, spear wasn't there.. doesn't matter as it was apparently too late to return anyway. Probably a great starter spear or a backup to your backup. I probably should have known tho..

Awesome spear!
The 2 piece spear is nice for traveling. It has an awesome lingcod tip, and a nice bag.

It works great
I’ve been using this spear on my last 5 dives and I’m getting a lot of fish with it. The pole itself doesn’t seem very sturdy compared to other spears I’ve used in the past but so far it’s been working great for me

Tip Bent with first use
I read the reviews and I was warned.. sure enough as soon as we missed and it hit a rock the tip bent like cheap metal.

Good quality
I needed a Hawaiian just in case my spear gun broke while I was out and I love this one! They get super expensive super fast but this one definitely gets the trick done!

Fish Killer. It works.
This spear and sling breaks down to fit in a standard checked bag. I took 2 to Cabo and it worked like a charm. Killed some fish and ate some fish. The cycle of life.
