Hi sorry I meant can I wire it to a normal plug and safety plug it into a household socket and to a outdoor socket to run a hot tub?

Hello David.  I believe that you would find it difficult to wire this neatly into a normal three-pin British mains plug.  It is very thick stuff.   The live, neutral and earth inner conductors are housed in a polymeric sheath, as with normal mains flex.  However, that sheath is, itself, covered by a tightly-wound braid of drawn steel wire.  In turn, the braid is covered by an outer polymeric sheath that makes the cable waterproof.  The outside diameter of that waterproof sheath is about 10mm (I'm not going out into the garden to measure it!).  Anyway, bottom line, the outer diameter of the cable is almost certainly too large to fit into the back-end of a normal plug.  You could 'bodge' it, by cutting back and removing the ends of the outer sheath and braid.  You would then have a cable end that would look like a piece of normal, high-capacity, mains flex.  There's a problem, though.  The exposed braid would have numerous  sharp ends that could cut you.  Electrical tape could deal with that.  However, it's an inelegant amateurish solution.  I am not an electrician.  However, a better solution might be to buy a waterproof connector for this sort of armoured cable.  You will find one on Amazon.  Essentially, it's a short length of plastic tube with a screw-tightenable grommet at each end and a 'chocolate block' connector, or similar, in the middle.  Its main purpose is to facilitate waterproof connection between two lengths of armoured cable.  The holes in the grommets are sized accordingly.  In your case, though, you could feed the armoured cable into one end and a short length of normal three-core mains flex (of appropriate current-carrying capability) into the other.  The connector would act as an 'adaptor' between the armoured cable and the mains flex.  It would then be necessary to fit a mains plug to the mains flex, as normal.  I am not an electrician.  So, if in doubt, check with someone qualified.  If you decide to proceed, perhaps get that person to do the wiring for you.  Hope that this helps.  Cheers.

Power wiring at ground level or under the ground in the garden should be Steel Wired Armoured type (SWA) to protect it from accidental damage from spades & suchlike which could lead to electrocution. It should also be protected by an earth leakage circuit breaker. 
1.5mm 3 core SWA cable should be OK for light duty electrics in a shed & should be installed / checked by a qualified electrician to ensure it meets current regulations.

Would the cable fit in 20mm conduit (15mm internal diameter).

My husband has just measured the wire and it is 15mm diameter so he said it would be a tight fit
