Funny and Clever
An excellent movie, with great action, dialogue and comedy. A very interesting story and delivery. This movie really worked for me with some great performances. The music is really good too.

Gentleman prefer cheese
Superb piece of film making by Guy Ritchie. Hugh Grant is outstanding as Fletcher. Also the chemistry between Michelle Dockery and Matthew McConaughey as the husband and wife gangsters with a kind of conscience is amusing to watch. There is one particular scene where Dockery's Downton days are very much in her rear view mirror. All round great film with a few Ritchie twists which you probably were not expecting.

Enjoyable but getting cliche' and hamy.
Its called the Gentleman, presumably because it just a movie with Blokes in (almost) The Good, Charlie Hunnam's gravitas and Colin Ferrel's charm, camp and off the wall Hugh Grant performance, who did too much heavy lifting with the storyline exposition, the rest of the cast were all good or greatAlthough immensely watchable, I was a little unsettled out by the bad language, normalisation of racism, and trivialisation of murder, mixed in with quite deliberately camp, hammy acting and humor. Nevertheless I would recommend the Movie, just not for everyone, but thats OKI was put in mind of Rick and Morty's send up of the heist movie as far as the plot was concerned, contrived, convoluted and improbable. Guy Ritchie can do this stuff soe well and it comes off. BUT it still feels like a dead end creatively.
