Everlast Blue P00002200 Power-Core Free Standing Heavy Bag
I purchased this item for my adult son who is used to UFC equipment. I utilized the written and video reviews on the top heavy punching bags. After getting caught in a rabbit hole of heavy punching bags the only true way I could justly compare the different equipment was to use a piece of paper, pen, and columns with the following prompts; Size, Ease of Assembly, Product Longevity, Punching Ability, Suction, Price, and Quality. These seven attributes narrowed my vision and choice to purchase the:Everlast P00002200 Power-Core Free Standing Heavy Bag.Two Products Compared are:FITVEN Freestanding Punching Bag with Suction Cup BaseNotable comments from reviewers were:-Disappointed-Problem is with the base-Base filled with water which was not heavy enough to stabilize the bag causing it to fall over with any amount of decent force-The suction cups on the bottom did not work at all-The suction cups did not provide any suction allowing the bag to wobble slightly under high-impact strikes-Water seeps out the top of the base when the punching bag is hit hard with a combination-Suction cups not working to well on epoxy floor. Lifts when my husband hits it (Will try to reinforce to floor)-Be careful the suction is very strong and broke my tiles-A heavyweight or hard punch will knock the bag over unless you use the suction cups (that’s with the base full of sand)-The red stopper could be more secure-Might work for a young kid or a very weak adult-The springs quickly slant after a couple of months use-The metal base that attaches to the post that goes into the bag separated at the weld (Went to Fitvin site. Wrote them TWICE with no answer as to getting the part. Be warned. [They claim they answer in 24 hours; horrible])-If using sand, use fine sand and not play sand, or it takes foreverThe Original Wave-Master Century Punching Bag.Notable comments from reviewers were:-Made from Cancer Causing Material-Not Made in USA as Stated-Amazon refused to Pay for Return with UPS Return Package Fee DOUBLE the Price of the Bag-Cheap Foam-Not Durable-The whole metal pole bended and the top zipper keeps opening causing the insides to rip out

Complete Waste Of Money! Defectively Designed!
I purchased the Everlast Powercore Fitness Heavy Duty Training Bag with Glove in blue color at the end of December 23rd 2023 from the seller Spreetail. By February 23rd 2024 the shaft of the pole cracked when use by my 14 year old who weighs less than 110 lbs and who recently started to use it few weeks ago. I contacted the seller, Spreetail, and they refused to offer complementary replacement and instead offered that i ship it back for a replacement. Shipping cost would be nearly the same as buying it over again and I was not interested. Instead I contacted the manufacturer, Everlast, received the replacement part #6 from assembly manual for less than $30. Within five days same exact part cracked in the same area as the original. IMO, this product is defectively designed and is prone to break easily. Other's have posted same issue, but they were lucky enough to crack/break it within return and replace timeframe.I would NOT recommend Everlast Powercore Fitness Heavy Duty Training Bag. Instead, I have recently place an order for a different designe free standing punching bag with metal pole, shaft, and spring with suction base that takes water or sand. Let's see..Also very disappointed with Spreetail as a seller not standing behind their product.

UPDATE-love the base, but buyer beware
UPDTAE- Ok, still love how the base works, HOWEVER as seen in the picture I snapped my bag in half…what you see pictured is the second one I bought. So my conclusion is this IS worth it for the easy of filling this up. If you are over 185 pounds though I’d go ahead and invest in the Fight Camp or Century Torrent free standing bags that can take a beating from heavier punchers. And again, I’m not a pro and I snapped 2 of these in half.I don't write a lot of reviews but I felt compelled to do one for this product because I did a ton of research before purchasing it. The main reason I ended up going with this one because of the comments about the large opening the base has for filling it with sand or water. If you've ever had a piece of equipment that required filling it with sand or water (like a basketball hoop) then you know how much of a pain in the ass it is to do, AND if you ever want to move it or get rid of it how impossible it could be to empty it. As mentioned in other reviews the opening is large enough where you can actually just put the bags of sand in themselves. I added 4 60lb bags, and it could fit more but I didn't want it to be too heavy because I move it around. I'm a boxing novice, and I use it for the aerobic training (fight camp app), but I'm a 245lb ex-college football player. It does move a bit when I punch it, but not annoyingly so (and if it did I'd just add more bags). The picture from above is after 2 weeks of use (3-4 days a week), seems to be durable, but again for the price and the ease of filling up the base this was well worth the purchase. I'm so glad I didn't get something that would've required me to mount to a wall.

Works well
If kept out side it must be covered for the winter months

Garbage product and terrible customer service from Everlast.
The punching bag broke after just a few weeks, and neither Everlast nor the reseller would replace the defective unit. It was only used by 12-year-olds, so if you're an adult seeking a reliable bag, I’d recommend looking elsewhere. Consider brands known for quality and customer service instead

Complete Junk
This is the most expensive paper weight I have ever purchased. Bought this for an 11 year old and it broke during the first use. The product went together with ease but the design is terrible. The plastic connections are secure except for the piece that connects the bag to the platform. But hey, my 75 lb son must be the next Mike Tyson.Update: Seller approved the return request but is now hitting me with a $100 restocking fee. You cant make this stuff up. What a bunch of jerks.
