Better than $250+ boots.
I’m in boots over 14 hours a day and these boots were made for comfort. Exceeds quality over boots that costs over $250. This is my second pair. The big zipper will last a long time and zips up with ease. Made for hot environments. Made with a composite toe for safety.

Very Nice (Unless You Have Narrow Feet); There's A Good Reason Why These Do Not Have Steel Toes!
These boots are really, really nice and very comfortable. I wasn't sure if I would like the side zipper, but it works well. The "pull-on" loop on the back is helpful. But if you have narrow feet you will find your feet swim in the forefoot unless you "pad" with additional (or thick) socks. If Reebok would make a "narrow" version (these "medium width" boots felt very much like "wide" boots), then we would have a SIX-star review. I've found that the 5.11 Men's Taclite 8" Boot is a better fit for my narrow feet (they are equally as comfortable, but lack the zipper). Size of these Reebok boots is about 1/2 size big (I wear size 11, but needed a 10.5 in the Reeboks (the 5.11 Taclite boots ran true: I wear 11 and the boots were an 11)).The zipper makes all the difference in what boot lace-up system is used. You'll note that the 5.11 Taclite boots use eyelets in the fabric while the Reeboks use plastic eyelets. If the Reeboks didn't have the zipper I would not ever touch them because the plastic eyelets are a highly possible point of failure. Given that most will lace up the Rebooks and leave them laced (using the zipper to take off and put on the boot) this is not too much of an issue (ergo, no plastic eyelets on the 5.11 Taclite boots). One other observation. Reviewers have complained that there is no steel toe but that the boots are advertised as safety boots. This is neither misleading nor incorrect. Yes, they are safety boots and yes they do not have a steel toe. But the product literature tells you that Reebok chose to not use steel so that there would be no issue with metal detectors, etc. In any event, the toe may not be steel, but it still seems to offer significant protection. In the end, if you're a lumberjack or the like and need real steel toe protection then these are not the boots for you. But if you are a soldier (etc.) these are perfect boots (and as a former armored vehicle crewman I can tell you not having steel toes is a plus: I remember having a pair of steel-toed boots and they helped my feet to freeze in the winter and roast in the summer).Reebok has done really, really well in these boots. If only they would make a narrow foot version!

Great boot
Great boot. Fits really well. I am size 16 eee and never ever get a boot that fits this well. It is true to measure and the construction looks and feels solid. I hiked up Huckleberry bald in NC the other night to watch the full moon rise. Several times these puppies saved my ankle from a twist in the dark. The moon rise was spectacular and the boots fantastic. Some old reviews noted an ankle poke or rub spot in the boot. I think that is older version. Mine had nothing but comfort . I bought the Rb Rb8894-m

I have three pairs
That I have three pairs, work hard, duty, and spare pair, says it all.The work heads are ugly and scarred from protecting my feet. The duty’s are worn but acceptable for out and about.Unmatched by hundreds of my boot history for ascent, descent, impact, comfort, and overall performance. At 61, these bruisers make me feel 50 again whether I’m doing tree work, ditch digging, or most importantly walking the dogs.

Try before purchase
Initially ordered a size 8 but they came big and wide. Returned and ordered a 7.5. Perfect and comfortable for work with construction. The light color is nice

Comfortable UNTIL YOU START TO WALK AROUND IN THEM
These boots have A LOT of padding from the ankle up the calf, and aare very comfortable UNTIL YOU START TO WALK AROUND IN THEM! I have had them for about 9 months now, and they are still unvomfortable. The problem comes from the heel area, and goes up the ankle. The way the boot is made causes the sides to pinch in on my ankle. The back of the heel has a very stiff piece of plastic in it that cuts into the side and back of my ankle when I walk. The area around the 5th eyelet (counting from the bottom up) kept bending inward and pinching the front of my ankle. I wore them for a few months thinking they just needed to be broken in, but still had the problem. I tried numerous ways of adjusting the laces (running them different ways through the eyelets, skipping certain eyelets) and still could not stop the boot from jamming into my ankle. I have had stitching coming out around the textile parts on the side of the boot, and just recently noticed that the leather on the back of the boot has come apart right above that hard plastic part that I mentioned earlier in this review. If you do purchase these, walk around the house in them for a couple days to see how the heel area feels. Don't do what I did (sat on the couch, put them on, and thought they felt amazing without spending time walking in them.)My use for these was for work. I wore them 8 hours a day, with the majority of that time in an office setting. The other time was spent walking docks, climbing around on fishing boats, and the machinery areas of cruise ships, with a few rocky shoreline strolls. They're perfectly capable boots, feel like bulky sneakers, but expect to have sore ankles.
