Great for pizza and tomato sauce
I make a lot of homemade pizza and tomato sauce (from canned Jersey Fresh tomatoes) and really like the flavor of anchovies. These anchovies come packed in olive oil which can be used in cooking for additional flavor.Here is a recipe to make NY-Style crispy crust pizza from store-bought pizza dough:1 pizza dough at room temperature (do not let it start rising)1 Tomato sauce (or pizza sauce)8 ounces of mozzarella (or feta cheese)1 tin of Cento Sardines with some of the oilYour choice of toppings: Black olives, ham, mushrooms (preferably cooked), onions, garlic, hot pepper flakes, oregano, etc.Method:1) Preheat oven to the highest setting (550 degrees in my case) and let it preheat thoroughly (15 minutes or more).2) Coat he tin foil with cooking spray or a light coating of olive oil3) Stretch the pizza dough to fill the sheet pan with no holes. It's okay if the edges are thicker.4) Using a fork, gently make holes over the entire surface of the dough except for the edges.5) Cook the dough for 7 minutes. If you made the holes with a fork, the dough should not puff up.6) Remove the dough from the oven and cover it with a small amount of tomato sauce making sure to reach the edges.7) Take a paper towel and lay it on the sauced pizza to absorb excess moisture. Discard the paper towel and do not eat it.8) Add the cheese. I cut the cheese into 8 slices because the pizza will be cut into 8 slices.9) Add the remaining toppings closer to the edges than the center.10) Cook the fully assembled pizza an additional 8 minutes.11) If there's too much liquid after cooking, use another paper towel to remove it.12) Transfer the pizza to a cutting board and cut once lengthwise and then three more cuts width-wise with a pizza cutter or large chef's knife to get 8 slices total.13) Enjoy!

Every can was bad!
Sadly, I didn't think to open the box until after the return window was closed, but EVERY SINGLE CAN in the box is mishapen and puffy....there is oil in the box as some have started leaking....I opened one thinking it was too weird, and yes, they are BAD! Sooo disappointed! I can't do anything either since the return window is closed...so buyer beware, make sure you open the box and inspect EVERY can! They should NOT be puffy at all!

package was oily...leaking ? if so, is something contaminated ? should i be concerned?
package oily....hazard? contaminated ? risk ? simple question, can you handle it ? flavor ,not used yet. value, too expensive!!!!! all else, ok........address the leakage issue before i use the product....
