I absolutely love it, so tasty, so good. Very pleasant flavour, not too spicy.

Agree with other customers on the softness issue - there's no crunch in this! went from eating mat cut kimchi in pouches or jars to this since i ran out and i just had to go back and order more mat kimchi since this kimchi barely even tastes of kimchi - its just more sweet than anything and soggy :/ not good and doesn't taste like authentic korean kimchi, lacks any sour flavour. i might be able to save it by making kimchi pancakes with this but its no good as a side.

When I received the jars I was very excited. It looked great. Big chunks and rich red colour. It smelled really rich and nice too. Unfortunately, the flavour is very bland and there's no crunch when you chew. It almost had a soggy effect and it tasted a bit sweet. Not the best and worst ever, but I won't be buying this again.UPDATE: I was ready to throw it away, but then my partner suggested that I add salt and cayenne pepper to it, so I tried it and left it in the fridge for a couple of days. It SOLVED all the issues I had with the product. Somehow even the texture improved.

Ive seen negative reviews ,,, tooo wet not like real Kimchi etc crap!!!!!....... Ive been eating various Kimchi brands since a spending a lot of time in S Korea in 2011/12 I can tell you it isnt nearly the same as the real fresh Kimchi ................if you want that get the Sous Chef kit and make it yourself if you can find Korean Raddish and proper cabbage leaf .... dont waste your time or money its not easy and it stinks........ just buy these jars and slap them on your plate, I love it.......... otherwise I suggest you get over to Seoul/Gumi city North Gyeongsang and taste the real thing...... I have to say there is a jar of Kimchi in Publics in the USA that is as good as the real thing shame it isnt here in the UK!!!!! long live Kimchi !!!!!!!!

It smells okay and tastes okay, but i've noticed after i've eaten some i get this weird metalic taste left in my mouth.

Absolutely loved the flavour. Gave my mate a taste who got me into this, and his reaction was "That's the best one I've tried"I was a little reluctant to buy it at first, as there are some rubbish reviews. However, I'm not getting what they are talking about.Do yourself a favour, just try it for yourself, you will be pleased with it.

I was nervous about buying this as I really don't like pickled stuff. But I was very pleasantly surprised and am enjoying it. I hope it has live bacteria as that's the reason I'm eating it!! Will buy it again. The only problem was getting the top off...Had to haul in a man to help me!!
