After looking at dozens of units for this purpose I decided to go with this brand otoscope and am well pleased.Having it connected to a dedicated viewing screen eliminated the problems associated with some wireless devices. The picture quality is very good. It takes some practice to use, getting familiar with the focus distance mainly, but then it's easier. This would be true with any otoscope. In my opinion the extra cost over some others was well worth it.

This a great tool for examining your ears. It is easy to use and can even take very clear pictures. It has help me make sure that my ears are clean and healthy

Great as an otoscope that you can use on yourself. When I was in kindergarten, I fell asleep outside and had the unfortunate luck of waking up to a scratching noise in my ear....after much convincing, my mom finally brought me to the doctor who looked inside of my ear, and confirmed my worst fear--a silverfish was making itself at home in there. Needless to say, I tend to be a bit paranoid about feelings in my ear and always assume the worst case scenario.If the camera ever appears foggy or less than clear, clean the lens as instructed and you should be as good as new. Having this be a self-contained unit and not require the use of my phone with a separate app to use is a big plus in my opinion and one of the reasons I purchased.This camera scope is very functional, provides a clear picture, and gives me peace of mind--totally worth it. There is a bit of a learning curve, but becomes easy to use once you get the hang of it.

Nice technology that allows visualization of ear wax, if any, ear canal and tympanic membrane on a screen much like that of a smart phone. Can take pictures and save them or even upload them to another device, which could prove useful in sending to a medical provider for a telehealth conference. I don't know if most people would feel comfortable using the tools provided to scoop out wax from ear, but just being able to see what is, or is not, going on in this is well worth the price paid. Recommended.

Absolute best quality. The $30-$40 ones don’t even come close in comparison. It holds a charge for a long time. The rubber part for the tip peels away from the plastic easily, however, superglue fixes it quite easily.

The image is very clear on the screen. You can see clearly even with the black exam scope tips attached.I left the scope on for at least 10 minutes to see if the light would get too hot for my ear. I thought maybe I noticed only a very mild warmth on my finger from the light after 10 minutes, but I was still able to put the scope in my ear, touching all the sides of my ear, and not feel any difference in my ear canal.Only con: once you attach a cleaning tip on the end of the scope and insert into your ear canal, you cannot see what the tip is touching before it makes contact. I touched the tympanic membrane several times and winced before I realized I was not going to be able to see or feel how far into my ear canal the cleaning tip was. I do not recommend using the tips for cleaning out your ear canal if you are using the camera to try and visualize ear wax at the same time.

The unit arrives with a full battery and setup is easy. Simply undo the wrapped cord on the otoscope, select your desired tool tip and slide it on, mount the rear support stand and carefully remove unwanted debris from either ear. The video image is clear, the soft-tipped tool tips offer a gentle touch, and light brightness is easily adjustable.The monitor appears well built and all of the buttons are easy to understand. This is a great tool for those who require frequent ear cleaning and I’d definitely recommend it. I just wish the gyroscope feature detailed in the product listing worked - the unit I received was seemingly faulty as the image rotated with any slight twist of the otoscope.

Wow, I wish I would've found this item sooner in life. I have always struggled with itchy ears when my earwax starts to buildup. I'll be honest, I've spent YEARS sticking Qtips into my ears to fish out whatever is building up. I don't know if it's OCD or whatever but by using this camera to look inside my ears safely is saving me! It comes with lil tools u can gently use to get the wax out. The camera is perfect quality. Absolutely nothing I would change about this I am so happy I bought it!
