Excellent construction and comfort!
The media could not be loaded. I am so happy with the purchase of this boot. True to size; a little tight around the ankle but the sides have some flexibility and a lot of adjustments can be made. I broke my ankle but still find this fairly comfortable. I highly recommend this one! It is so much more comfortable than the boot my doctors office provided.

The Lamborghini of Orthopedic Walking Boots
I've had two Achilles Tendon repair surgery’s with the second requiring a cadaver reconstruction. The medical boot the hospital gave me was fine but I was never really comfortable enough and never really felt supported once I could put weight on my foot.My BraceAbility boot came yesterday and the minute I put my foot into this thing I was in absolute heaven and kicking myself for not discovering this sooner. It's incredibly comfortable, secure and rocker sole feels really natural when walking. Worth every penny.

A Necessary Evil
The Boot is an old friend of mine. I have had to wear it previously for a broken foot, and most recently for a badly sprained ankle. I call the Boot a Necessary Evil because it is the best thing to wear when there is an injury to your foot, but it a little heavy and a little bit cumbersome until you get used to it. It certainly builds up the thigh muscle.

Achilles Tendonitis Relief/Healing!!
I bought this as a last resort for my insertional achilles tendonitis. I had been hobbling around in pain for 8 months. I asked my Dr about a boot up front, and they brushed the idea aside until I had tried stretching, which only made it worse. So, I researched what kind of boot would be best and this style was it!The relief was nearly immediate!! Why this isnt the first thing the Dr precribed is beyind me. Wearing this boot takes all of the pressure/stress off from where the achilles attaches to the heel bone, allowing the entire area to rest and heal. I wore the boot for 3 weeks and was 85% better (I shouldve given it another couple weeks but forgot it on a month long trip). I did buy a cheap paid of shoes with thick soles and put a heel wedge insert in that shoe so I would be walking on both feet at the same height while in the boot.Pros: comfortable, adjustable, nice rolling action when walking makes it easy to walk in and stand for long periods.Cons: inflator leaked after day 2(only reason for 4 stars instead of 5), velcro strap ends can snag pants on opposite leg if they are too long and flappy.

Not for swollen ankles!
I got this for a fibula fracture as urgent care did not have one tall enough. It was tall enough and seemed well made however, I was terrified to place my tiny delicate weak ankle into the tiny spot in back of boot. (And Ankle was not swollen). I tried once and it was extremely tight and uncomfortable….thought it would do more harm than good. Also attempted to use air inflation for my leg and could not get it to work….perhaps it was operator error. I sized way up after reading reviews and bc i wanted boot to be tall for my leg. I’m telling you…that is one tiny spot to cram your ankle in. I understand that the whole point is to keep the ankle stable and it must be snug but i had extreme difficulty cramming a tiny woman’s unswollen ankle into that boot. Ouch. I am grateful to amazon that i can return.

Great deal
I went to the local DME and the entire amount went towards my insurance deductible. Costing me $380, before I left the store I found this exact boot as given ti me by the DME store for less than $70. I was able to get a refund since I hadn’t left the store and order next delivery from Amazon. Definitely worth the wait. It’s been on for 5 weeks and has held up great. Thanks

Gets the job done
Absolute lifesaver, extremely rigid when pumped up, my injury is healing quickly now it is immobilized by this boot. I can wear it over 12 hours before it gets uncomfortable. I can walk on it without crutches when I need to use my hands for a bit whereas without it my foot cannot bear any weight. As a former EMT: I approve.

Pump area extremely painful
The boot itself, the bladder lining and the pump to give it a snug fit with all around cushioning is wonderful! However, where the pump rests against you on the inside of the boot is so painful . I tried stacking gauze over the sore area, then wrapping it with a foam type gauze, and used one of the little black cushions that came with it , between my leg and the back of the pump. It was getting worse. The picture isn't very clear how red and bruised it became. I removed it but kept the air hose intact so it still worked. I taped it to the boot but it didn't work even with strong duck tape. I had to cut it off. I really miss the air cushion all around my foot. I've been experimenting with different thickness of foam pads to replicate the feeling. I still love the quality of the boot and the concept is amazing. It just didn't work out for me. I'd definitely recommend it, but of you notice the same problem starting ,return it early for one that doesn't create new pain.
