These make great and affordable light fixtures.
Paper lanterns make great affordable light fixtures. About $20 in parts (wire, plug, chain, bulb socket) and a $10 paper lantern and 30 minutes of my time is all it took. We have a big one in our entry way, and two smaller ones in our dining room. They look much better than light fixtures costing hundreds and hundreds of dollars.

Wanted a softer lamp type lighting and this does the trick. Super cool, exactly what my daughter wanted in her Room!

Great experiment!
Bought this paper shade as a low-cost design experiment: could I mix this modern paper shade with my antique furniture? I’m really loving the look, so I’ll probably invest in a higher quality paper shade in the future. For now, it looks beautiful, throws soft light, and works well with my decor. Thanks for offering an inexpensive paper shade!

Nice but came with small tears
I got the 24". Good price and nice lantern but came ripped ever so slightly here and there. More than one hole, suggesting less than stellar quality control. I didn't want to be bothered with return. Fortunately the defects are not noticeable once the lantern is mounted.

Pretty and festive for summer
I bought this for my back porch (for summer). We eat out there every evening and spend a lot of time on the screened porch in the summer. This looks so pretty and festive hanging over the dining table.
