I've used these guys both on my tiny house and rental cabin that suffer a little bit from movement each year. Super easy to install, and easy to reposition if needed. I would not hesitate to recommend. These are great in that they fit over a hub, whereas this particular style is next to impossible to find at the big box stores.

Non-standard use, happy with results
Purchased these not for a plumbing project, but for connectors in extending a desk with metal legs. Used an interior steel bar for the leg extensions, and these were used to connect the outer joint of the original hollow leg posts (makes more sense if you see it). These were easy to install, and fit perfectly. Very pleased with the results.

I LOVE THESE THINGS!!!
Hard to find locally. Definitely not at the big orange or blue box hardware stores! Sometimes you can find at a well stocked ACE Hardware, but that's not always the case. If you have an ABS pipe that is broken/cracked at a fitting, these slide right on. Sometimes a little dish detergent helps if it's a tight fit. I always keep a couple extra lying around the house, just in case, because it takes a while for them to arrive.

Good for mating different pipe materials, saving time, money, or use for a reasonably quick fix
Just like the description says. Works well.For those who don't know, this will literally allow mating a female type fitting to a male (pipe). This is only useful in certain instances and not a common item. For example, if you cannot mate PVC to PVC due to space restrictions, mismatched material types (PVC to Copper drain pipes), or labor/time issues.FYI, the metal bands can be removed after installing and rotated to clamp the other way. The rubber is somewhat flexible. If need be, there is no problem with snugging the large end up to a female fitting. The material can be cut (tediously) with box cutting blade if you absolutely need to, however I'm sure that the manufacturer would not approve.

If your looking for coupling repair over a 2" coupling, this is what your looking for. Perfect fit! They don't sell this at your local hardware store.
