Q: can I fit 1/4 sheet pan inside?

Just checked on mine. Nope. slightly too large to fit.

Q: Does this unit come with filler plates (like the Vacmaster units) when sealing smaller items?

It does not come with filler plates

Q: How many Bags can this machine vacuum at one time?

I have only sealed one bag at a time. The bag clamp seems designed for single bags

Q: Is this the most recent version of the sealer that has the vacuum accessory port on the front of the unit?

I don't know which version is most recent. However the one that I purchased in December 2015 does indeed have the vacuum accessory port on the front of the unit. The port is below and left of the control panel.
