Very fine quality bible with interesting maps and gold leaf presentation.

A beautiful Bible for any Roman Catholic with a soft, touchable red leather cover. Pages are thin, as in most bibles so care needed but, the print is very readable and it is beautifully presented in a gift box. A treasured Bible in our home now for daily use and prayer. Good service and communication from supplier. Slight delay in delivery but, arrived well packaged a few days later. Highly recommended for those who find standard print difficult to read like me.

Good NRSV Catholic bible. The font is quite reasonable to read. It would benefit someone who needs a larger text. It has a good introduction for each book in the Old Testament & the New. At the back it has a Bible reading plan & advice on how to pray with the scriptures & also, there is a concise glossary & concordance with plenty of information with a list of names and places in the Bible & full collar maps at the end. It also has two ribbons which is really helpful. It has all the Deuterocanonical books as well. All in all I would say that this is a very good bible. The only complaint is that, there ghosting on the text. This means that the text from pages seem to merge with the page you are trying to read. This makes it slightly blurry when reading. However, others may disagree with this. But this is still a decent Bible from Catholic Bible Press. It comes in a box & would be an ideal gift for somone. Also, the delivery time was really fast.

Very nice Bible. Cover is nice to hold and looks like it will last a long time. The print is about the same as a standard novel - I was expecting bigger - you would not pick this up and open it and say 'large print'. Otherwise a good buy. If you need larger than average print look around first.

The book it's self looks very nice, the paper is what I would describe as toilet paper that you would find in a service station, a very poor quality. The paper crease very easily and it's not a book that is going to last a long time. The print size is large and I found it ok and easy to read.The text starts with a scientific explanation that God didn't create the world or the universe, but rather it starts as us the people getting to know God. God didn't create Man but humankind, you can see were this is going. The original bible the Codex bible in Rome where all bibles come from is far removed from this version. I own a KJV which is a completely different book. Now I accept times change but not the bible message, at some point this book the church will become irrelevant. The next NRSV I'm sure will say God created two non binary humankind what ever. You don't see other religions changing the holy book just to become politically correct. I have given it 3 stars because it's the bible after all.UPDATE.I have returned the book. And will read my King James Version instead.

My mother was delighted with her new bible. Very easy to read with reasonable sized font. Feels very well-made.

This is a good bible for Bible study. I like the cover it feels very durable which is a plus when traveling. I wish the font was a little bit bigger though I have another bible with larger font. As indicated in my title please be aware that this is the Anglicized Edition. I wish this was stated in the description more clearly because I was looking for just the Catholic Edition. I made sure to check it was the Catholic Edition and couldn't find any indications it wasn't so assumed it was just the Catholic Edition. I will keep it though because it is still a good Bible and only has some wording differences.

I love this Bible. I love the bold prints which makes it easy for me to read and pray with. I am so happy to own this Bible.
