This is one of the BEST products I have tried for digestive issues. Never knew that OX BILE was such a great ingredient for gut health. Important: Take it WHILE you are eating. The ingredients will start working WITH the digestive process. This is KEY.With a light meal like a sandwich, half of the pill works fine.

The price is high but the product is wonderful

I've been gluten and dairy free for years now because my stomach and body just doesn't tolerate either well. I stumbled across a sample of these enzymes at my local health foods store and gave them a try. I've used other enzymes that you have to take shortly before meals and I generally end up forgetting to take them until right before I start eating and often they end up making me feel just as bad (or worse) than the offending foods.While travelling we stopped at a restaurant and I wasn't sure what was in my food so I took these because they were what I had on hand. Fairly sure that my meal had both gluten and dairy I realized later that I'd not had any negative reactions to eating the meal.Looking at the packaging I realized that the suggested dosing is to take 2 a day - with no prescription on when to do so. So, that's what I've started doing and I've found that over time I can actually tolerate dairy now without any issues.Looking at the ingredients these have a wider variety of enzymes than any product I've found and a higher amount of the enzymes than most other products. The combination seems to work really well and I've been recommending it to others that I know who have similar issues.

My digestive system is in a great working order when I take them. Easy to swallow.

So I am writing this review because I have been taking this product for about a year now, and it has changed my life when it comes to my stomach and my digestion issues I suffer from IBS, sibo and I don't have a gallbladder anymore and this has at least a small amount of ox bile in it also which helps with that. That being said in the year that I've taken this product I've always bought it from an herbal store in town. This time I went onto Amazon to buy in a larger batch. I've had this bottle for about 2 weeks it's halfway Gone because I have to use a lot but my concern is this; I woke up this morning to take it and I opened the bottle and it has a putrid vomit smell to it. I've never experienced this before in all my bottles that I have bought in from the other store. So again I'm confused maybe it's bad batch? just want to let other people know purchasing this that this happened and be aware of it. Again absolutely great product when I have bought it from a local health food store. And the bottle that I bought from Amazon 24-hour deals seems to work, so far but I don't know what's up with this smell. Far as the product it self with my experience in the past I give it 5 stars, but this bottle makes me wonder? So I am giving it 4 stars BTW the expiration date is current it's not supposed to expire until 2020

Works great for me

I first found this product while on a weekend holiday in NYC around 2008... and most recently ordered it online.For those suffering from IBS-D including urgency in the morning. This will help. That being said, it will not help on it's own.This is a very potent digestive enzyme, and not to be compared to the usual natural supplement crap you see out there. Just compare the ingredients. Anyhow, I take this in the morning, and before every meal, and as well as before i sleep (even if no meal). Does it make a difference. YES. but remember, those dealing with IBS-D, sibo, leaky gut etc.. you cannot rely on one thing to be a be-all / end-all response. This helps with the digestion. One thing I take with this, which does crazy wonders is a product called curcumin complex by Now Foods. Curcumin (from tumeric) in high doses is a strong anti-inflammatory. THese two have literally changed my life to the point where there's no urgency or issues.Anyhow, all this to say, if you are looking for a strong digestive enzyme.. look no further. Take it before meals and as well on an empty stomach even if not eating for a while. For those who mentioned it upset their stomach.. this did not happen to me.
