One of our employees in the shop prefers the soft hood to the helmet. While these are disposable, they do last quite a while. I think we may buy a new 5 pack every 2 years or so. Our business deals with a lot of particulates in the air... mica, etc. These do a great job with the PAPR of keeping the particulates out and fresh air circulating. According to our employee it's a lot more comfortable than the hard helmet option.

Elastic inside headpiece is tight and would be uncomfortable to me for long lengths of time, so I returned this item. Still giving too stars because the design is smart if you need this type of containment.

I thought I was buying a box of 5, but instead I only received one hood. Very disappointing. This is an expensive price for one PAPR hood.

This does not fit most PRPE units. You have to buy a adapter. They fail to advise you of this.
