Assembly: Daunting to begin with, the instructions do appear relatively busy and not entirely westernised (think more confusing IKEA), once you understand there are really only 2 types of screw and a device number besides each section it's fine. Was using the wrong 'long'screw for ages before realizing there are 3 screws, 2 long and one shorter, in the same section, pulling my hair out trying to understand why a screw wasn't long enough to connect two sections. After that, it's standard monotony. Very simple. Took about 1.5 hours start to finish.Completion: Set looks lovely when complete, comfy, and all in all really good value for money. It's a plastic type of rattan, which all in all, is fine.Critique: Couple of the cushions (s) didn't expand in the same manner as others, not sure if this by design or not; some were super plump and others thinner. Would be good to have some consistency across the whole product with cushion thickness.

I agree with all the comments regarding assembly instructions, they are not particularly good and misleading in some places. However I found working through the boxes one by one and laying out the sections helped, it was then just a process or working out which screws/bolts went where from the guidance. Note that helped me: the two longest bolts are for the square end pieces and go from the outside and connect to the inside piece.Aesthetics wise, it looks lovely and quite impressive with all the cushions in place. The cushions are also quite firm and very comfortable.Our order turned up within a couple of days, several days before the expected date, allowing us to use all the weekend in the sunshine.Time will tell on longevity but so far so good.

Good value. All arrived well packed and each piece labelled to easily identify each item on the instructions. No extra tools required.Definitely needs two people to build. Picture only instructions appear to have been updated and made clearer. Allow plenty of time to build and go page by page.Really comfy. Just one thing...... Be careful with glass top coffee table if young children around. Glass just rests on the top of the frame leaving Sharp corners (even with plastic corner covers left on) and only 4 suckers keeping glass in place.

So this was purchased for the decking with our new static. Bargain price with mediocre reviews. Mother Mary of Jesus. I have never encountered anything so difficult to build. Being a Trauma doctor I would rather attend a 26vehicle collision. The holes in the patio set where as in line as a fractured hip. The Allan key’s decided to go blunt so became as useless as a ash tray on a motorcycle. 11 hours into this build I felt that I needed the Welsh guards and Royal engineers to help out. At one point I’m sure I witnessed a tank commander. This item is made in Vietnam and I’m sure I’d of been better spending the money on May ling ( love you long time ) this has to be the most enduring task I have ever completed. The screws don’t add up. The washers arnt even central with the hole. I’d be better using a polo mint. Anyhow with fingers more painful than jimmy Hendrix after a guitar solo a back like a old horse and in need of two new knees the red arrows did a fly over to commemorate this huge unveiling of this awful Vietnamese production. Final build quality is actually nice but unless you’re a builder or joiner I’d pay someone do buid it. Jimmy Saville couldn’t of fixed this being truthful.
