We received a Chemex coffee maker as a wedding gift and very quickly realized that our regular filters would not work. We were scrambling for a quick solution so that our daily coffee habit would not be interrupted. This product came to the rescue! Shipped quickly (our area had next-day shipping available) and arrived in perfect condition.The box seems a little large, but is nice and thin so it stores easily. We placed ours next to the cutting boards in our kitchen cabinet. The filters are not prefolded and arrive in flat circular shapes. I actually find it therapeutic to fold each morning as I wait for my beans to grind and water to boil.There's plenty of filters in each box, so it lasts a long time! We have been using one everyday for 3 months now and I feel like we haven't even made a dent in the box supply yet!It's the simple things in life that can sometimes bring such satisfaction!

The filters are not pre-folded but store flat. I fold a few of them once a week or so to keep them close to the coffee maker, and keep the box out of sight in a cabinet.. I pre-rinse with hot water before brewing. Coffee is always delicious.

I bought these based on the picture, that looks like the filters I normally buy.These are UNFOLDED, and I will be returning them.Why would anyone want to fold their own filter?

I'm folding the whole stack so they can be stored in a small space near the pot. It's fine, but my fingers detect something in the paper that concerns me. I saw "oxygen" cleaned so assume there are no residual chemicals.

These are excellent filters that come unfolded. It is no trouble to fold them and has become an interesting part of the morning coffee ritual. The box is ponderous compared to a Mileta filter box (12"x12"x1), but the flavor delivered is worth it. I store the box in a cabinet below my jug kettle instead of in the cupboard above. The thickness of the paper and pointedness of the cone actually make it less of a mess to dispose of than skimpy grocery store filters. I simply grasp two sides of the filter and lift it into my coffee cup and carry it to the receptacle. These filters have added immensely to the enjoyment of my Chemex carafe, and its delectable instillation.

just in case anyone overlooks this part of the item description like i did, these are the ones you have to fold yourself. with that being said, it's about as easy a task as they come (you're just folding a paper circle in half twice) and the filter quality is amazing. i love my chemex and the accessories are no different :3

Facile da usare anche se per la mia chemex è molto grande comunque basta piegarlo in 4 e fa il suo dovere

I've been using these filters for over 45 years. These are pretty much the same old filters: not quite as sturdy as they were 40 years ago, but still make the best (filtered) coffee. Shipped and delivered promptly. Arrived in good shape.

届いた梱包用の外箱が大きいので？と思い箱を開けたら、注文したケメックスのフィルターでした。今までお店で購入していた商品は、四角く折られた状態で箱に入っていたので、ちょっと驚きました。こちらの商品は丸型なんです。でも使用するのには問題は無さそうです。ピッタリと収まりそうですし、色も材質にも違いは無いようでした。お店で購入するよりは￥410円お安く買うことが出来ましたので、100枚折り畳む手間賃かもと勝手に思っております。^^折り畳むのも面倒ではありません。ただ、大きくて場所を取るかも。薄いんですけどね。
