Friends Ask First!: A Book About Sharing

Good lesson for small kids
Short, rhyming, goes along with the Daniel Tiger episode. Gentle way to teach toddlers about sharing & not grabbing. So when my twins were fighting over a toy I’d just sing “before you take something away, stop and ask if it’s okay” and they respond better than trying to teach or reason with them. Now they’re used to it & will sometimes say that phrase to each other. They don’t necessarily scream & fight right away and will sometimes talk to each other & work it out. Ahhh progress with less hassle. (P.s. Daniel Tiger is based off of the old school Mr. Rogers Neighborhood & has lots of excellent lessons for small children.)

Taught my 3yr old daughter to (mostly) take turns
Great book, I mean for an adult the story and names are odd but it does what it’s supposed to and my little girl likes it and has learnt from it. Would recommend buying.

menagerie. Beautifully illustrated. My grandson is 3yrs
We love everything about the books. Based on mr. Roger's neighborhood it's the best of both world the old and the new.
