NuriPortuguese Sardines in Spiced Olive Oil - 2 Pack - (4.4 oz cans)

Large fish size compared to other sardine brands, but very appetizing taste and texture. Outstanding seasoning, just right! I have reordered several times and am completely pleased. Well worth the price.

(Spiced version)I read about these and had to try. They are definitely good. Unique spice blend (not spicy hot spicy aromatic). Nice size sardines and not stingy on packing. Had a very complete meal with one can. First, I tried a bit of sardine plain with nothing else. Great flavor, texture. Then I had as a sandwich with a mix of mayo, dijon, dill and a bit of lemon juice with a bed of romaine hearts. Excellent sandwich with firm fish and perfect texture. Then I tried a piece on a cracker (sardines and crackers?)I hunted high and low for these locally but no luck. So I ordered from Amazon. Are they better than good sardines available anywhere? No. They are of very good quality - yes. The flavor is unique and worth trying - yes. But overall the experience isn't life changing enough to order more in the future. But they are good and as far as sardines go - a full 5 stars.Edit 1: comparing these to some other lesser brands - the fish texture is way better here. Very firm and feels like fish. The cheaper sardines have the texture of mush.

I’m use to regular store bought sardines and have heard these are the best. I can definitely taste the difference these are high quality. I ate them with saltine crackers.

They are amazingly good will continue buying them.

This is my first can of Nori of any variety, and unfortunately, Amazon is sourcing their sardines from a dusty old warehouse because these were canned three years ago. The taste was very good, and I can only imagine what they would taste like if I actually had them within a year of canning.Amazon should do better.

This is what sardines should taste like. Perfect texture, the spice and flavor just right. Simply the best. Of course they're expensive, however each can is 4.4 oz. and contains 25 grams of protien. Now I'm ordering more.

If you like super spicy and love Nuri THIS is the one for you. It's much hotter than expected!

I like everything about the, Just the right texture and firmness. The sauce is excellent. We especially love it over steamed broccoli and new potatoes. Wish we could buy it locally though as it might be a bit less expensive, You pay for what you get and the gettings are good here.
