My Big Book of Sounds: More Than 100 Sounds Board book – Sound Book, September 24, 2019

This book has so many noises to entertain and teach your children! It kept my boy's attention for long spurts at a time! We also enjoyed using it together.

This is a favorite book in our house it gets played a lot and has held up well. This our second time buying.

First off, I have never written a review, but found it necessary for this purchase. My daughter is 1 and a half and was born blind. You can imagine how scary it may be for a baby to hear a lot of noises all around and not know what they are or where they are coming from. There has been lots of tears, learning, redefining, and hard work -for all of us! This book has been such a blessing for many reasons;1. The buttons are easy to feel and push.2. The sounds are not too loud or odd in any way (some sound books can have loud and scary sounds!), they are accurate sounds and are not intrusive.3. A wide variety of sounds from sounds in the home, tools, garden, outside, babies, cars/sirens/etc, animals, etc.4. The book doesn't just say the word or play the sound it makes, it does both which is so helpful for a visually impaired child!Overall a great purchase and has helped my daughter identify and understand many of the sound items. For parents of visually impaired children -this is a wonderful book. I gave 4 stars because as many other reviewers pointed out, the sound board fell right off the book when we opened it. Not a big problem for us, I will just use velcro:)

Great book for vision impaired and blind kids.

It’s easy to read and durable.

I am a teacher for visually impaired infants and toddlers and this book has the right spacing, color, animation a child who has low vision needs. It builds language and visual functioning skills. I liked it so much I gifted one to a student of mine. I do plan to gift more and recommending it to my clients’ parents. I highly recommend this book.

The sounds are accurate and loud enough to be heard. It’s a good sized book too!
