Tony Chachere's Creole Gumbo Dinner Mix, 8-Ounce Units (Pack of 4)

Made seafood & sausage gumbo soon after receiving shipment. It tasted great! In fact, my wife has been hitting it hard since it was ready to eat! Great product, simple to make, tastes delicious (if you use quality ingredients)...added Conecuh sausage, fresh shrimp, fresh crab meat, okra, green pepper, onions, fresh corn cut off cob. Wasn't too spicy and had a little heat...loved it!

Great quality gumbo starter - I normally add some extra onion and use kielbasa (haven’t found good andouille locally). Easy to make, good value - will keep me with a warm belly during the cold winter!

This a an excellent gumbo base. You can eat it just as it is if you add your own sausage,chicken, or seafood. We like to add our own mashed potato salad and more rice along with sweet and hot peppers. Much easier than starting from scratch making your own rue and such.

Easy to make and great for those who love tasty rice dishes. I was suprised at how easy it was to prepare - add the packet to water, then add your choice of meat. Voila!

great flavor and so easy to use

I made Gumbo with this product last evening. I added onion, red, green, and yellow peppers in addition to andouille sausage, okra, and medium shrimp. It was delicious. I was worried that it might be too spicy for me but it wasn't. My husband who likes spicy foods said he would add some hot sauce. I would use this product again. It is a great base to add whatever you like in your Gumbo.
