Good, a bit time consuming to install but doable, measure your area properly
These rods hold up lightweight curtains. It took a few tries to get the rod to stay in my old wooden framed windows. You really have to put tension when applying it and it fell a few times when first putting it up. After about 15 minutes of trying i finally got it to stay and I’ve had this rod for about a month now and it still is holding my curtains up. My only concern was that my other window (I installed two of these rods on two separate windows) is on a corner of the room so the round ball at the end was apparently too much in the way for me to apply the rod correctly to line up corner piece with the window. However I just put tension on the ball and the other corner piece and it worked so just make sure you measure your area between the wal and the window so you don’t have that issue! I love these rods and they are very functional and look nice.

I love this rode
I love this rode. It was a long time I was looking for a rode without drilling I was feeling disappointed that I saw this rode. At first, when I read the reviews I was in doubt whether to buy it or not and since I did not have another choice I bought it and It was installed just in 30 minutes, useful! I am a girl and at first, I thought can not install it with myself, but I did. It's not heavy but a girl can install the rode alone. It guides it's very helpful if you wanna to install, pay attention to its instructions. Besides, I do know that it never stays long, so based on its price and my demand and the short time I need it's reasonable. Besides, it has something that can be used if it stopped working without the drilling.

Works well, even though it's plastic
I bought this to put up blackout curtains in a window that already had blinds installed on it, so I couldn't use the kind of tension rods that I'm used to (the ones where the whole rod sits between two parallel surfaces).I didn't realize the whole rod assembly was plastic until after I got it, and I was worried that it wouldn't be sturdy enough to hold up my curtains, but they're well below the listed weight limit of the curtain rod, and it's done pretty well at holding them up so far.The installation instructions are all right there, printed on stickers that are stuck on the rod itself, and were easy enough to follow. You could take the stickers off, but I left them on because the curtains I bought cover them up, and I'm sure I'll forget how the thing works by the time I move and have to take it down. The only problem I had was that, at first, it would start slipping down/away from the window frame every time I adjusted the curtains (or my cats decided to adjust them for me). That stopped once I over-tightened the rod to the point where the rod started to bend from the pressure, and then loosened it up just enough so that it didn't bend anymore. All in all, I'm pleasantly surprised by how well it works for a plastic tension rod, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to put up curtains on a window that already has blinds installed in it, and where you can't drill into the wall/window frame to install a permanent curtain rod.

Sending out old returns?
I've bought this twice before with no issue, and it has served its purpose well. However, on my third order, I received a big, badly torn box, with the curtain rod just haphazardly placed in it. The curtain rod was also scratched up and dirty. I'm horrified that this happened.

Tension
I really like the concept of this curtain but over time the parts are getting loose and no matter how much tension I put on it they fall multiple times a day. I would return these if the return policy wasn't up because it is not worth the money.

Awesome concept, poor execution
I live in an apartment and don't want to damage the walls by putting up our own curtain rods, so when I saw these nice-looking tension rods in disguise in a video somewhere, I had to hunt them down and get one for myself. I love the way it looks! Someone wouldn't even know it's a tension rod--when it stays up. Over the course of a few days, it seems to slowly lose tension and slide out of the window more and more. We have had to put it back up three different times in the ten days we've had it, including the time it completely fell out of the window on its own. Weight isn't the issue, as the single curtain we have stretched across it isn't even five pounds. And it's not like the window's width is pushing the envelope on either end of the scale: it's 34" wide. Maybe if the brackets that mount the rod to the inside of the window were longer or something, this wouldn't be such a prevalent issue. But until then, this rod will be getting returned if I can find the box for it again.

Easy to use!
These were perfect for our windows. Renter friendly and being used on windows that have no trim and inset horizontal blinds. Needed some blackout curtains and these work super well without damaging anything or having to drill holes.
